Holy crap, I've been dragging my feet to join the other blops guys screwing around with IRC/ED, but now that I see what kind of tears it's generating I guess I know what I'll be doing tonight. Holy ****, you guys are hilarious. I'd love to see how fast your alliance would collapse if we were actually involved in the war and not just sending 5-10 guys over there to screw around and gank people that are flying around solo through unscouted gates.

Which station has all the crap that Gobblock & his friend(s) stole? That's the one you need to capture :)

Assets were in D-IZ, E8-, YM-, and RK-.
60B has been sold in-place (IRC - you will see those 26 dreads undocking soon in your cyno jammed systems, and the new owners will happily build supercaps using your 7000+ cap parts). 140B-worth has already been evacced to empire and mostly liquidated (I.M.M - good job recruiting that jump freighter pilot who had been bought on the forums 12 hours earlier, never asking for an API key or doing a vent interview).
The remainder (about 100 battleships, 6 freighters, an orca, hundreds of other T1 ships, several billion units of trit/pye/mex, other misc. crap) will be sold in-place once the stations change hands.
And this is why I love EVE. Beautiful :)

Originally by: Hexor V Also whats with the circle story? You need a straight story to make it work. First it was 60, then it was 80, then it was 70, then it was 100, and now 140 billion? Every time this gets mentioned by Saba and yourself it's a different number from what I've read.
This might come as a little shock, but when you empty out 4 hangars worth of stuff in who knows how many containers / whatever, it might take a while to come up with accurate estimations of the total net worth of your newly acquired assets. The original amounts I heard after that heist was 200+ billion, so I'd say they're right on mark for that. Based on this post here:

Yes that is roughly a titans worth of parts.

There is alot more than is in this screenshot.
Haven't tried counting it all, but using round numbers its easily 200b.

Originally by: Hexor V Ok then why if it's 200b right off the start do they post random numbers below that? Logic plox.
Pretty sure the heist was coordinated by multiple different people, so depending on who was posting and how much information they knew about what other people managed to grab would cause different accounts of the overall amount. Either way, what the heck does it matter? There have been multiple screenshots posted and it's been pretty much confirmed on multiple levels, so what's the point in bickering about it? Either way it was definitely a pretty significant blow and from the sounds of Seba's most recent post it will continue to be significant (ie: when their stolen capfleet gets used for the enemy's advantage)
