I don't get why people even bother to state who dishonours 1v1 or not. EVE has honour? Since when? This is one of few games where you actually can do whatever you want. Cause and effect. Behave bad enough and enough people might lock you up in a station.
Always assume the worst, always expect the unexpected, do 1v1 and expect it to be dishonoured. Should be in the damn manual tbh. - This space for rent |

Actually, it'd make more sense to list who actually do honour 1v1's. Same with ransoms. - This space for rent |

No worries. It's just me that goes roflcopter each time topics like this pops up. No offense to anyone, I'd honour a trade but I would never honour a 1v1. Makes no sense in my book to do such a thing. If people want to do 'arena'-style of PvP they can use SiSi or play another game, imho.
I know people got different opinions, but that's another point in this matter; you can't expect people to honour 1v1's just because you (in general, not directed to OP) do. - This space for rent |

This, my corp ransomed a carrier for 750 Mill, then killed him anyways.
______________________________ Also, THIS IS AN ALT POST YAY
Just want to point out what I posted above.. I honour business, not fights. If someone ask for a ransom and I accept it, I'll hold it. If someone ask me to fight, I will fight them. But I won't come alone, I'm there to destroy them.
It's a difference. And either case, my point was this; players got different view of what is "right" and "wrong" in EVE. Ultimately it's a sandbox. Example; When I started EVE I stole drops from miners/ratters and bookmark scammed. Managed to **** off a corp with 200 angry russians. They proceded to camp me into a station and totally kill the game for me, so I made a new character (Misanth) and started over.
A player that dishonour ransoms, 1v1's etc are perfectly in his/her right to do that. You just never know who you'll **** off and what the effects will be. - This space for rent |

Originally by: Garmon I agree with you Misanth, dishonoring ransoms or 1v1 is their own call, but you shouldn't really do it if you can't handle the consequences, we will teach transwarp that
This is exactly what EVE is about imho. His behaviour causes actions. Now yours will cause others. It's so sexy I get wet in my.. uhm.. /me goes off to shower.
Good luck tho, give 'em hell. - This space for rent |
