Well its not my operating system cos i have formated and reinstalled a different XP, i have tested my ram nope no problem there, so i can only think i have downloaded a bad copy or CCP have messed up, its been amost 2 days and this is stupid, it would be nice to know when they have fixed this bug! or give me my money back
if not pos then i'll just have to derate this game

I have been getting this error for quite awhile, I have downloaded Eve numerous times with and without d/l managers, I have also tried to install from a Magazine cover disk only get this crappy NSIS error. So I doubt it is corruption from downloading, I suspect that the installer is buggy and is picky what hardware it will work on. The weird thing is that eve install perfectly when i orginally installed it....so what has changed?

I am now able to apply the new EVE patch by downloading the res.stuff from the eve site, just by copying over the old files, and then applying the patch, u'll find these file in the downloads/patches/stuff located at the bottom of the page

Thanks for the patch several times and it wouldn't work either.. the suggestion to get the stuff files on the webpag worked for me too.. look at the file thatyour patcher says has a error, and then dl that file from website.. and put it in folder, overwriting old verson..then it should patch after that

same nsis error here .. been 7 days now i cant install it even if i download from another machine and burn it to a cd ,, the new install or anything and its not my system ,,,,, is ccp going to do something for this ?

My client won't download the patch at all. I try to log in, then it asks if I want to download the new patch and nothing happens.
