Algith Chaps,.
I see Dread Gutaris and Domination etc and other faction stuff sell for loads in contraxts, where are these rats who drop this kinda stuff located? I wish to peruse them and fire my ammo at them.
Can you get faction drops in Missions, is that it??
Is it an officer spawn or something? Do you have to scan them out? is this is 0.0 or low or high sec? What rat drops what and where i need to know because I'm amazingly skint and bloodwell annoyed becuase of it!
I need ISK and will hunt for it just tell me where to point my ship please

You'll find them with Exploration.
You can either try to find Cosmic Anomalies, you only need one probe and you'll get plenty of combat sites, but the chances of faction loot arent very high.
Cosmic signatures require four probes and some scanning skills to find, but they can yield some very nice things.
You'll want to be scanning for Unknowns (not Wormholes).
Once had a Low-grade Slave Omega drop from a True Sansha frigate in 0.6, got me 200mil.

Thanks for your words of encouragement. So I don't need to be in low or null sec to get the nice items?
Many thanks, Ive never looked into exploration before, Ill try it out and hope I do well.
Been playing EVE for 5 yrs and never once found a faction item or anything better than a Pandemonium BCU, although that is quite good =)

You don't have to be in low or nullsec but it certainly helps. Better spawns and less competition.

Just keep an eye on local in thoose systems. And perferable the directional scanner.
