I have been killing Guristas for the past few weeks in tribute region. Today I warp in on a 1.5mil Blood patriarch with a crap load of ceptor escorts and blood priest cruisers in tow.
Needless to say they wtfomgpwned me in no time as I did not have the right hardeners on me. Lost a mega with 70mil worth of named guns on board. That was just not cool.
What are my chances of winning a petition on this?

Blood pirates are know to spawn once in a while in Tribute... Use the scanner to find out if it's Guristas or Blood spawns around.
No chance to get your ship back...

Why would you petition it? You lost to npc pirates, I see no reason for a petition. Or do you mean it should not be possible do loose a ship to npcs?

should be possible to loose your ship to NPCs. what should be impossible is two types of NPCs spawning in the same system, and region - Branch, Tenal, and Tribute being the only regions that have that kind of sht happening.

Saw a 1.5m, 2x500k + cruiser Blood Spawn in Deklein. I'm not going to complain though, as the biggest Guristas spawn i've seen is a single 1m guy with some interceptors.
Your 425mm Prototype I Gauss Gun perfectly strikes some nublar, wrecking for 1155.0 damage. |

If you do not scan before or warp in at distance...its on your own head.
It is supposed to be dangerous out there...or would you like tea with your Rats?

But, what exactly is there to petition? It's not like there was any lag you tell of, not like those have much hope anyway.

hmm, he does ahve a slight point were it not that this fact is widely known to locals.
I regularly hunt bloods all night in Branch, with the occasional pesky gurista in between.
