Imho the Rupture can be outfitted quite decently with lasers or railguns and some heavy missile launchers  |

I love minmater ships! Once you get past projectiles they are alot of fun. I always find myself feeling naked in another races ship.
People are like I love my thorax drones. I say yar i got my drones.
People say I love my caracels missles. I say yar i got missles too.
People say I run up and armor tank rawr. I say me too!
People say I got good low slots. I say me too!
People say I got turrets (ok they dont really). I say me too!
People say my ships fast. I say vrooom vrooom.
Minmater ships are alot of fun. Whenever im in other races ships i find myself missing something. Wheres my missles. How come i got no drones! That sort of stuff.
Minmater ships though are some of everything and slots to do just about what ever you need too with in reason.
And thats how you equip them for npc. Some of everything. Just remember to play towards that "everythings" strength whatever it might be at the moment.
The second cruiser bonuses were sort of a downer cause the minmater really didnt get a cool bonus and now more then ever I find myself yearning to put up with not having some of everything to toy with the new interesting cruiser bonuses other races were given. The medium projectile bonus is pretty boring.

Well without telling us which ship, which fighting style you prefer (missile heavy/long range/short range/that sort of thing ) No indication of skill lvls, and no info on what it will be used for...

Well without telling us which ship, which fighting style you prefer (missile heavy/long range/short range/that sort of thing ) No indication of skill lvls, and no info on what it will be used for...

lots of loadouts both here and on eve-i.com for minmater ships...just research.

With the new bonuses on cruisers the Minnie ships are getting really interresting..
Rupture if you really wanna hurt someone..
Stabber if you wanna hurt someone a little less but do it faster..
Just try and figure out what you'd like to do and look at the ship specs, study them, do the same with the specs for the equipment and the skills...
You'll find a good setup.

The minmatar frigs are imo the best in the game. They are fast and very versatile.
- Rifter, gunship.
- Vigil, pvp tackler: mwd, scrambler, webber.
- Breacher, missile ship. You can do all l1 and l2 kill missions in it, and some l3 missions too.
Except the Bellicose, the cruisers are also good. Too bad the belli didn't get the missile 2nd bonus.
- Scythe, miner
- Stabber, extremely fast, good cargo, cheap gunship
- Rupture, can handle any l3 kill mission, great long and short range, lethal in pvp

I think the key to the rupture in npc fighting is to have enough cap recharge or skills to run an mwd forever. Then of course you must use projectiles and missiles as weaponry since they take less cap if any. Plan on not being hit and use an armor repair for when you are. And as always just avoid the npc interceptor spawns.

whats wrong with Minmatar race?! If you are whining about projectiles, stop it. I hear so much of it, i desided to stop using my Caracal (i was big fun of missles started from Breacher) and went all guns with Rupture. Projectile guns.
I had done every single level 3 mission in it with exeptions of few new ones that CCP came up with since last patch (thanks by the way) :)
Wicked wicked ship. Flexible, ,cheap in maintenance, fast, able to hurt enemy hard in practicly any range normal cruiser can do. I mean, come on, 17.500m fall-off on 720mm is sick. Being able to load Proton and hit anywhere from 20k-45k without having to reload, oh how about loading emp and hitting hard from 0-20k? Jumping around the battlefield with MWD while blasting guns, it does not get any more fun. Just yesterday i killed Arch Angel, after killing his escorts, nearly point blank with EMP (i webbed him so he does not move). Try to do it in Caracal. :)
Yes some other races have it easier in some areas like Caldari ships do not have to worry about missed shots. But they are not as fast, they are not flexible, if you see Caracal, most likely it is 5 heavy launchers with scourges, and ether shield tanking or mwd setup.
lol, i am getting too emotional :) Imagine, burly minmatar brutor crying about his love to his ship.

Hey! Don't diss my belli, it's a great ship. With the new range bonus for projectiles I can sit at 48km and do pretty desent damage. And if you only use the microwarpdrive in short bursts you can keep the distance and still have a lot of energy to run the coffee machine. :-)
