DMH has been through alot of changes and some people do care...obviously if you care enough to even post that you dont care then you are lying. Dead mans hand has been targeted by everyone for being overly aggressive and from my personal experience kicking the heck out of people then they usually come back with friends. These are my moments with DMH. we fought off a gang of 30 nuets. a hac fleet then we hear reports of solar fleet coming with 40 guys and we immediate go set up and what do u know they jump in and we wtfpwn them...OH HOTDROP! ok..we start killing carriers then that gang of 30 comes back with like 50 bs's and we have a 3 way! then the 50 and DMH gang up on solar for carrier slaughter. Next day with our new friends that we were just shooting at the other day we hear 2 carriers are at a planet. oh...solar came back. = more carrier kills...man the russians are mad at us or something??? we are running around 4c and then decide to set a small camp on the bf gate and we send a scout in...scout reports a cyno...then reports 2 nuetral carriers on 4c gate in bf. the fc was like huh? scout says 2 nuetral carriers on gate...FC sends in like 2 more scouts in disbelief and what do u know..Carriers on a gate w/o support? we ofcourse kill them and then sot and solar fleet start roaming hard around 4c. once again we are just bored and hear of a report that huzzah was around the area. we just hot foot it to the 1l gate in d5 when what do u know huzzah scout jumps in.. only a few of us there so they all jump in. our reinforcements arrive quick and we started the butt kicking and now huzzah likes to roam around there :) Troll...troll lol...they turned against us after un-nat left us and they started fighting with VI and doctrine and they decide to hot drop us. we end up killing 2 troll carriers after whooping up theyre roaming fleet and then there was yva. Until we were hot dropped in yva by avarice and cry havoc we had outstanding success at killing hotdrops :) I LOVE YOU DMH so what we lost a few. DMH loves pvp so I love DMH regardless of all the internal crap that had created weakness and confusion!!!! Moral of the story is we usually kicked peoples butts then they added to our group of people that dislike DMH and gradually beat us. Not 1 group but many! It has been a fun ride! from one mans point of view and this is not endorsed by DMH only HAND

Then again really considering the setups linked earlier in this topic, i dont see a normal anything.

It is gonna last 2 seconds more. And die anyway. I also faction fit my **** when i use it for small scale stuff. I sure as hell wont trow away 3 bill isk on carrier or dread in a fight where is a good chance i wont load grid or be able to shoot single gun and die horribly. For that cases T2 is way to go. Even on Motherships tbfh. Its oversized carrier anyway. __________________________________

Especially when your point of view is based on ...eft and not on something that you have experience on. The only reason you wouldn't fit a carrier with modules 3 times its value is that you will loose it and with that amount of isk you can buy 2 more. Uber modules won't save you in a large engagement. You see how many titans die lately. Did it make any difference that most of them were officer-fitted? Well it made for the people who looted it, so if you wanna make your enemies happy by dropping yummy mods, well its your money not mine. (Without suggesting that you shouldn't max out a Titan) I guess that you could spend lots of isk on a power symbol, that you would generally not undock, your e-peen Nyx that you never use, your officer fitted bhaalgorn, etc . But not on a ship that you will probably loose in your next engagement. The ability to field more is what matters most, and a decent fitting, t2 or faction. That anyone with some brain can achieve.

No but on a serious note, it doesnt harm ppl spending time in eft and understanding what a ship is capable of and maximising its potential, its what the program is for at the end of the day. Ofcourse in a dream world you could fit the ships exactly how you want to ingame based on what you did on eft, but the reality of it is, its the iskies that rule your choices. I suppose in essence i was too hasty with the T2 smack, i mean i do get it, but for me personally, id rather spend a few more hundred mil knowing that i bought a ship thats got what it takes to hold its own. I still have to laugh at the large armor rep 1 tho on that thanny...
