I understand that others have tried similar services but feel that given time you will all see how great this service is and want to participate in each drawing. Over time the amounts may be tweaked as customers make suggestions or requests. This is being posted by an Alt created solely for the purpose starting this Lotto and others that may spawn from this idea in the future. About me: I recently returned to Eve after about a 1.5 year break. I originally started playing Eve in 2003 as the character ClearEyes in KDM Corp. I was the security office for KDM during their time with the Curse Alliance. I took a long break from Eve to come back about 2 years ago and play for about 5-6 months until RL problems forced me to retire again. I didnÆt make much of a name for myself then and I mainly only did missions and mine. I am back to now to stay and working my way through missions hoping to get to know all of you very well and become a well respected member of the community. Starting this Lotto is a big step in that direction. The Risk: As I realize I have not yet made a name for myself so many of you will have little trust for me I have decided to start small. I plan to run the Lotto for a while before making any changes giving everyone the chance to get comfortable with me and the Lotto. 1 Mil Isk is a relatively small amount for most Eve Players so I believe this is a good place to start. Over time the price per ticket and rewards may go up at customer request. I also have decided to give 100% of the ticket sales away as the prize for the next 2 weeks. I will keep no operating costs for the Lotto. What this means if you are the only person to purchase a ticket over the next 2 weeks you are automatically guaranteed to win 10 million Isk. With 2 Lotterys a week you could make 20 mil. ThatÆs 40 mil of my own Isk invested for those 2 weeks to guarantee a decent prize to contestants. After those 2 weeks I am putting up 7.5 mil every week to guarantee a minimum of a 7.5 mil price to contestants. Why am I willing to do this? To show my dedication to making this service work. Grand Prize is a guaranteed 7,500,000 Million Isk! Increases with the number of tickets sold. Prize is 75% of the total ticket sales, never to drop below 7.5 Million (Ex. 100 tickets Sold Winner gets 75 Million Isk!) How much does it Cost? 1,000,000 Isk per Ticket. Participants can purchase multiple tickets. How is the Winner Determined? Winners will be determined in a raffle style drawing. Every Ticket purchased is given a number and a winner will be selected randomly using a random # generator from those tickets. (Ex. 100 tickets are sold they will be numbered 1000-1100. The generator will then randomly select a number between that range.) How do I enter? Send an Eve Mail to ôHot Lottoö with Subject *Eve Hot Lotto* with the number of Tickets you would like purchased for the next drawing along with $1,000,000 Isk for each ticket requested. You will receive a response confirming your entry. (Note: To ensure quick response times please remember to put in the Subject: *Eve Hot Lotto*, failure to do so could potentially delay or disqualify your entry.)

I thought this was the forums that IPO's got posted in and figured it would fall under the same category. I understand the concernces with random number generators and my name not being well known. This is why I intend to guarantee the lottery for the next two weeks and post winners in this thread. That way people can get to see that their are winners and it's not just me making up winners everytime. With lotteries being help twice a week the winners list should quickly begin to fill up with happy customers.

They run off of CPU clock cycles, which are predictable. You definitely need to research open source random number generation before I plan to try your lottery.

I just have to use Capsuleer on my IPhone to keep an eye on the wallet. (Unless someone knows of an easier method) So as of right now they are guaranteed the 9 mil.
