Greetings. I have just resubbed to EVE Online after being away for quite a long time (year plus). I currently have a 10 million skill point caldari pilot who was rolled at launch. She has rather pathetic attributes as I rolled her before I knew anything about the game.
To my question : Would I be better off rerolling a character with better attributes under whatever nooby system exists? Or is ten million SP enough of a head-start that 14 perception / 13 will is not a big deal?
Also, if it is not to much of a general question, what is the current state of my beloved missile flinging faction?

You can actually respec your attributes now, once a year. I'd say do that and keep the 10mil SP... Your signature exceeds the maximum allowed dimensions of 400x120 pixels and filesize of 24000 bytes -Sahwoolo Etoophie |

Does that respec include racial bonuses? My biggest concern was that I did not get one of the newer races within the caldari faction, and that those bonus attributes would own me.

Edited by: Mal Lokrano on 05/05/2009 16:41:05 If your talking about bloodlines, they do nothing but looks. Now all characters start out with the same skills regardless of race and bloodline. The only difference is they start of course with their own racial ship skill (I.E. no Amarr pilot is going to start with Caldari frig, you would have to train it). This and the racial gun skill to I would think. ____________________________________________ When going to a party with wine, women, and song. Always acertain the vintage of the first two. |

There are no "racial bonusses" or "bonus attributes", the new bloodlines just had a different attribute distribution. Since everyone can respec their attributes now, that advantage is largely lost.
Also all bloodlines (including the new ones) now start with the same even attribute distribution (8/8/8/8/7) and players have to use their respec to get any kind of efficiency.
