I look at the corp names and can you say the Alliances. All the Alliances have the beta testers. Soo they moved out to 0.0 fast and took over 0.0. See there are reasons for starting a game at Retail!!!
I just hope someday standings matter. Only then will Eve meet its full potential.

Hi.
Beta 4 here.:) Took a sabbatical but back and happy with the actual status of the game.
I remember the thousands of exception windows coming up , making your computer slowing to a crawl.
I remember the "derelict" players.
I remember the little skull like icon for the feared pirates around.:)
I remember going out on my first Maulus, being attacked by a Bantam and firing back my first missile at him.:D (Yes, Maulus had missile slots at that time)
I remember leaving my station and finding ark, bist, hemorphite, crokite ALL in one belt, ready and juicy roids to mine.
I remember the uninterruptible docking sequence.
I remember plotting the course to another system MANUALLY.:D For each and every system in between.
I remember uber profitable trade routes with drugs, Holoreels and many other commodities.
I still clearly remember the feeling of sheer awe as soon as i logged in for the first time, staring at my Navitas, lighlty bobbing suspended in space, and as soon as i saw the ship going into warp after the (UBER bugged) tutorial i must have said something along the line of "***t! That's gorgeous..."
I remember i now have to go move my car otherwise i may have to go get it at the police city car parking... eh:)

You forgot killing people with tech 5 paradise cruise missiles.

Tried alot of stuff in beta and just as it all came together it was armageddon day and i couldn't find any stuff to equip my tempest...
To bad.. oh wel lit still was pretty nifty with just missile launchers :P

It's the exact same things as what Zombie did, you may not attack in "safe-areas" (empire/within sentry range) without loosing your ship.
