Besides after the first year (big event) and the shuttle last year (small event) I do not recall CCP having done anything particular for EVEs b-day.
I personally prefer it that way.

its not easy to not only survive, but to become one of the best MMOs in those short 6 years...
Recalling all the changes there has been in those 6 years... (as a carebear, i miss the WCS's. hehe)
