Hi there i first like to say ive been trading for over 4 months now and ive made a profit of 35Billion Isk From only a 5 Bil Investment Here is My story:
I Used to own a Character called 'runtrade' and have many time tried to get a loan however realising that was a little harder then i thought i decided to sell my main pvp character in order to get the isk to start off.
I saw there was a nice place in the market for me and fairly easy to do, the first thing i had to do is get a character i thought of a name that know one will forget so it had to be whats on poeple mind (sex) and of course i was trading so the name sextrader was perfect,
I then had to get her in a corp the reason for this is so that i can create over 60 Contracts on behalf of my corperation with max skills ths would allow me to set up loads of Buy orders contracts, so i created, 'Sex Trade' Corperation.
Right so now i got the character and ive got the corp and ive got my 5bil to invest so how did i do it?
As youre proberly aware now its trading through the contracts system everyone seems to think its an ugly interface and to awkard to use well you need to look beyond that and look at the profit margins to understand why i went into it.
I had a rough idea of how it all work For example I set up BUY ORDER Contract for Amarr Navy Large Armor rep on behalf of my corp For lets say 95mil When i get the item i stick it back on contract not my corp this time its through my character for 115mil So you take away my tax 1% you get my profit, Okay so i made about 14 mil profit....
....now imagine dealing with 30+ items just like that.
As i became more familiar with the system i could create contract much much faster which reduced my time in eve ofc and i bacame more aware of the items i was selling and at what price they would normally go for so for instance if i saw a few items that where pretty cheap on the market itstead of undercutting them i would simple buy them and stick then back up on contracts.
I was amazed how active the market so i bacame to advance myself even more by focusing at what times i would put up buy orders this was a very important key factor of this type of market becouse there is a bit of competition can be a bit anoying when you set up a buy order contract for 96mil then someone would stick one up for 96.2mil and ofc you cant modify the contracts once its up, but if i was to do it at the right time i could avoid be undercut i found the most active time was about 5:00PM eve Time many will come into jita and sell there faction stuff so that would be my time i would start putting them up, if i was to put my buy order contracts up for lets say in the morning 11:00 am which is a bad idea becouse the market is not as active as it would be at 5:00 So the time it gets to 5:00 youre contracts would have been undercut many times
about a Month into Trading i could see that the CNR market was very active, times i would put up 5 Buy orders at a time and they would all accept after a few weeks of this ive decided what about if i could cut out the contract system and the tax i had to pay. So next time all my buy orders for the cnr's accepted i would contact the person who was selling all these cnr's.
It was fairly hard to speak to the poeple normaly, i guess there from another county ;)
but when they said they could come up with 150 CNR's everyweek i was shocked and couldnt tell if he was lying so i said i coundt take that much but i could take 50 CNR'S a week he said okay straight away he sold me 50 CNR, i was real happy i got this deal this ment i knew i was going to earn so much every week in a bulk deal the price was about 230mil and it varied but seems they where selling for around 260mil i was happy with my margin.
However After about a month and a bit of doing this the expansion came....

After that jita was broken for about a week and everything became dry and price bagan to shoot up CNR's went up about 100 mil to 340milish and that was the point which they stopped selling me the CNR'S.
I Will now show you my books this is all the items i dealt with however i did deal with a few more but it wasnt worth me putting them in.

I do apologize if the thread is a litte misleading
But this sorta of trading can be done even if you only have 500mil or even 60mil isk but the amount of isk will define how much profit you are going to make, more isk more profit make sence
i do have my reasons to believe i was buying the cnr's from isk sellers etc but i had no hard evidence and i guess i just took my piece of the cake and use the excuse 'chinese poeple gotta eat as well'
