Judging by the description in the Shiva section I'm guessing they'll have hitpoints just a bit below a tier 1 BS and enough power to fit a full set of the largest cruiser turrets, and still have power left for tanking and/or speed mods.

If the bomber skill grants a 25% per bomber level skill to missile max flight time. It would only have a 40k range at level 4. Not that long of a range. I'm more hoping for a ship bonus of 25% damage to bombs. 6 launchers, 150 damage per launcher, 900 base damage without skills, 1125 damage with skills (if it gets a damage bonus), std launcher could hold 2 bombs per, so 2250 damage before reloading. Sounds good to me. Fear the Ibis of doom.

I've pretty much outgrown destroyers for my own use, but I think battlecruisers will make excellent NPC/mission ships as well as being a great way for smaller corps to contribute to big battles.
