Yeah that's right. I want to be able to extract implants from a corpse, or hell, with them alive - I'm not an antivivisectionist .
Come on, pirate technology should be able to advance to at least give me something from their body except more fuel for my cloning plant.
Perhaps allowing implants to be extracted that are partially effective? Say a +3 implant extracted from a pod/body/corpse is actually a +2.33?
Fractional stats!

some of the back story make it sound like we'll be abe ta sell de corpses fo fun n' profit
------------------------------------------------ Tell my tale to those who ask. Tell it truly - the ill deeds, along with the good - and let me be judged accordingly.
If this world was supposed to be friendly CCP wouldnt have wasted time paying the devs to code so many weapons |

I may be wrong here, but I'd assume that sensitive nano-technology might not react too well to deep-space temperatures...So I think it's all well that you can't, tbh. -Clipped Wings of LFC

I completely agree. Currently we pirates get absolutely nothing for the corpse except for the stink in the cargo hold. I hear there is a nominal price some where for them (50k is it?)
People who refuse to pay ransom, or die gloriously in battle should leave something of a little more value for the victor. Maybe even a dead-body flavored vodka drink that can be made from them. SOMETHING!

Well supposedly you'll use corpses to help you become Jovian, but I can neither confirm or deny that rumor.
I wonder if you could sell used implants on Escrow?
How much for a +1.56 implant? Hmm...

If you could get an extra fifty million worth of implants from every passerby you kill, piracy would be even more out of contol than it already is.
Would you like a module that insta-destructs anyone with a positive security rating, to save you the trouble and the ammo cost of killing him? Probably.
What I'd like is a (maybe rather expensive) high-slot module that feeds back on whoever fired the last destroying shot - love to watch from my pod as your pretty toy blows up because you didn't account for the possibility.
Or a very large boobytrap (think XXXL one-use smartbomb, with a 50km blast radius and 20000 points of damage) that only goes off when the ship carrying it explodes.
Pirates have it far too easy already - I sincerely hope CCP treats your idea with the contempt it deserves. ---------------------------------------------- "Violence is the last resort of the incompetent". ---------------------------------------------- |

Please explain to me how I can pirate easily? I am sure I used to be able to, maybe I haven't adapted well because it seems hard as hell now. Fortunately ganking is still possible, so I'll stick to that for now. I am sure most people would rather be 'pirated' than indescriminately ganked, but I guess they'll have to adapt to the changes they have begged for. ______________________________________________

Destroyed ships should leave some "destroyed ship parts" behind that you could pick up and refine at a station and get like 50% minerals of what the ship used to build. Right now all we have is some items, wich isnt exactely worth anything. With some new stuff in game and some coding from CCP they couls come up with a solution to profit easely.

Although i am not a pirate, I feel it is a big part of the game, and i'm in enough pvp and i totally agree, for your average pvper mining and even hunting npc's is such a huge chore (i know it sure is for me) so it would be very good if blowing up players ships was more profitable ==============================================
Have you ever wondered who was responsible for the "do not attempt to stop chain with hand or genitals" type notes on things? well it was me, or at le |

I don't pirate, prob never will. But I do PVP a fair it and I would say I agree with you. The ability to extract implants must be based on a long skill to train, and still have a very rare chance of actually happening. If ccp were to do this they would have to be very carefull. Otherwise we will have people ganking even more so now. A couple alts in frigs would do it easy. Kestrals with cruise in Yulie anyone?
