I haven't EFT whored before, and I'm coming back from a long break so suggestions would be helpful. I want to maximize gank and tank. My current setup:

zealot wont get anywhere near that tank.
DPS still something to be desired. Only advantage you got on a BS is speed imo

How fast does it go with the AB? Wouldn't a MWD be better (or was it originally meant for probing out missioners, as the "scanprobes" in the name suggests)?

Yeah, it doesn't seem to be capable of putting out much higher DPS than this.
I played with setups for Tengu that gave it 500 dps and a 200k-ish ehp passive 7-800dps tank, with tackle... and I put together a 1000dps 1000 tank proteus. This thing feels like it needs something. I could try dual active tank instead of tank + plate...
edit: The scanprobes is from when the setup used the scanprobe subsystem instead of tactical targeting network. I could cram on a heavy missile launcher for a bit of extra DPS that way, but lose a midslot and my awesome near instant targeting speed (currently, 4th mid is a sensor booster)

Honestly, if you have missile skills khanid is the way to go. Almost the same dps as conflag, with scorch range, selectable damage type, and half the grid use. They also use no cap so you can abuse the neut subsystem. If you want to use lasers, what you have is probably about as good as it gets. The name makes me think that plate was originally a second rep though?

Have you considered going for something along these lines?
It's not really a completed setup, it's only tech 2 and it's not pure gank but you get the idea.

meh. Miss the plate and extra turret, but can overload a long time and tank 1000+dps without overheating. With overheating goes to 1263.
