Edited by: Trimutius III on 11/05/2009 14:26:28 Is it really hard to turn on computer... Setting a queue takes 5 minutes per day... Or even less... I don't know what RL circumstances could be that u can't even find 5 minutes to set a queue... And yes u will not die if u lose several hours of training... I lost in overall a several days of training while there was no queue at all.. And something like few hours after it was implemented... And u can't believe i'm still alive! Somebody loses monthes of training (can't pay subscription for example) and not whining at all... LOL... ------------------------------------------------- I am envoy from nowhere in nowhere. Nobody and nothing have sent me. And though it is impossible I exist ¬ Trimutius |

Originally by: LoOnY PaRk Personally I am surprised CCP even added the skill queue and now the whiners have got what they asked they want more and more! and you know they will never stop wanting more.
Well you know the saying, "Give them an inch..."
Even when the hint of a skill queue (not que) came out I was against it. I thought it would be a one-way ticket for macroers to make alts and have the money roll in etc. I was glad when it was limited to 24 hours, and think it is quite sufficient. It allows me to hammer out those little rank 1-2 skills in a row without babysitting my client. I work full time and it suits me fine.
All those whingers out there clearly have no kind of time management skills whatsoever. You are NOT limited to just 24 hours. You can set the last skill to be quite a long one 30+ days etc, as a 'buffer' until you next get to login.
Don't blame CCP for your own inadequacy...

I wonder how i reached that: 213 skills and none of them below lvl 3. And this was mostly done before we had the skill queue.
I mean to be honest: There should be little bit of effort necessary to play the game. Or do you expect that everything is done automagically? Whats next after the unlimited queue? The ability to chose one of XY focus directions and EVE choses the best way itself? Ah i forgotten, afterwards you realize that skillbooks are a pain - autobuying will be necessary, ..

I think an ideal time period would be 2 days, maybe three, allowing decent training of skills to lvl 4, lvl 5 skills above rank one are ten or so days, a reasonable time to log in as often as

The training que should have the ability to train certificates, both to help new players and also old senile ones like myself. ;)

The training queue was added so you don't have to wake up at night to change your skills. The long term automation of skill training was never the intended purpose.
A 30 to 60 day training queue will never happen.
The idea of training skills through the CCP website has been floating around since the game was released 6 years ago. The fact it has not been implemented yet is to assume CCP has good reason not to implement the feature.
Be happy with what you have, and make the best of it.

It took us long enough to get a skill chain. Dont push it, it's fine the way it is. You obviously don't know how to use it. All you need to do is log in whenever that skill is within 24Hrs of finishing and put the next one in... extending it would only invite people to ever have to log in, even more than current. Saying that you have no new skills to learn obviously means you have completed the game!
If yor saying that you can log in once a week, then this game isn't for you.
