Am I the only person who thought this video was hot trash? Its not even eve related. Its editing was done using windows paint and scenes from halflife. The creator didnt even change the skins of the halflife characters. Its was like watching a un-aired episode of robot chicken narrated by a 4 year old with downsyndrome.

I'll step in and say something.
I'm giving the movie and great 8/10. Now I'm not calling it bad nor I'm a calling it the greatest thing I've ever seen. It did seem to drag a bit during the first half but got better in the end with the pickup and the fight to get to the stargate. That was really well played.
The placement of easter eggs was a nicely nice touch. I found myself going back a couple times to spot certain things I saw in posters. Who was that in the wiki article you calls "Tossers"? "This is an Oscar Mike Foxtrot Golf" I loled on that one. Didn't catch that at first. :D
Now I know it's not a AAA Hollywood film created by professionals but for an amateur movie it's very very top notch. The detail that went into using HL2 as the animation engine and for level design couldn't be any better. I'm keeping the film archived on my hard drive so I can get some ideas for creating my own movie, though it's going to be more of a recruiting film and not nearly as constructive as CS was.
Mad props to the people who created it \o/ You all should be proud of yourselfs.

Better than the first movie, I can see mister Rourke's skills are improving with writing and execution of the film. Thank you, sir, for such a breathtaking cinematography.

I hadn't watched the first Clear Skies, so I downloaded it and the new one and then watched them both one after the other and I'd just like to say they are both totally awesome.

If you mean the main wiki site, then yes. But, it was shut down by someone else who made another machina (didn't like the competition). Hence, the tossers eater egg. Granted it would be great for Clear Skies to have an article, but truthfully it's so awesome it doesn't need one anymore. (:

Ok, i tried this with the first one but didn't finished it. So, to put a little bit of pressure on myself i announce that german subs are on the way. If i am not delivering in a few days poke me, call me a liar or whatever to get me going.
This masterpiece must also be accessible to people which are not native speakers (or hearers for that matter). So hopefully there will be german subs soonÖ

- At 8:24, you can clearly see a number of articles about Clear Skies, including a screenshot of the Wikipedia entry for Clear Skies (since deleted) where the second paragraph is circled and marked "TOSSERS!!" It's not clear what that second paragraph contained; see here for the pre-deletion original and see if you can find the version with that paragraph.

Same applies to YouTube and WMG. It'd be a waste of time uploading Clear Skies 2 onto YouTube with their policy even if Ian gave the ok the mother****ers at WMG would nuke it.

While not a AAA title by any means, clear skies does it right.
It has characters you care for, a plot that seems larger than life and a form of humor that makes even an old minmatar battleship look good. It takes quite a bit for a movie to give me the thrills, and both of yours so far have

One note. I saw the ships computer when viewing code, yellow, orange, red, blue, and the wallet was up. The wallet value looked to be about 1.4bil. Why is 30m isk so much to insure that ship?
