Hey, I live in 0.0 Gurista space with my alliance, and the Apoc is very slow to kill them, even with Scorch. So, now I am currently skilling up a Raven. I have pretty horrible missile skills, and I probably wont train them up too much. Do you think I will still do better with bad missile skills in a Raven against Gurista rats? Here is my sheet:

You've been banging your head against this wall for a while, huh? (google says so I swear!)
I once purchased an Amarr alt char with a low sec status, with the plan to rat him up to access at least .6 systems, and resell him. Problem was, he was all Amarr-up to HACs and Med T2 lasers, and I was based out of Gurista 0.0
There's no easy way to dig into Guris with your Amarr-centric skills. I did, however, brainstorm a relatively easy compromise that didn't detract that much at all from keeping his skills focused: train projectile.
Don't need to be T2; and seeing as you've got over 6mil in Gunnery don't waste your time training missiles. Get Large Projectile Turrets trained to 3 or 4, slap some named 1400's on your Apoc, and load it with Phased Plasma.

Haha, yes I have been banging my head against the wall. :)
I actually did read some time ago that loading projectile turrets on my Apoc would be a good way to go, which is why I have small Proj. turrets to 3. (I stopped training it though, I don't know why) But wouldn't Hybrid turrets be better, since all of the Ammo is Kinetic/Thermal? Also, I wouldn't have a range penalty from the ammo, since Phased Plasma does. Thanks!

You could do that, or you could just skill up missiles and use a Sacriledge. Failing that even a Geddon with Ogres should make a decent improvement.

Another option is a Drake (5% bonus per BC level to kinetic BC damage) but that would mean skilling up another weapon system.

Yea, go projectiles, don't need to be tech II.
Lasers are painful to use against Guristas.

Geddon with Wasps will kill guristas pretty well, assuming your drone skills are up to it.
