Jitaaargh	Posted - 2009.05.11 00:11:00 - [1] Hello, I'm a 24-year old player from the United States. I returned to Eve a couple of months ago after an extended break from the game. I had joined a corp that some of my old friends are currently in, but the corp is less active than i have expected. My main character is a 39M caldari specialized pilot - able to use all T2 launchers and railguns, this character also has respectable manufacturing and research/invention skills. He has HAC 5, Recon 5, Caldari BS 5, and is also able to fly command ships. My alt is a 26.5M Amarr specialized pilot - able to use all T2 beam/pulse weapons. She has amarr battleship 5, battlecruiser 5, interceptor 5, and is in the process of working on getting into recon ships. A long term goal is to get her into capital ships. I am looking for a corp with the following: A mature atmosphere, with the attitude that RL must come before EVE. A corp with a sense of teamwork - I don't want to do everything by myself Targets either through hi-sec wars, low-sec factional warfare, or null-sec war. A strong US Eastern TZ presence. Opportunities for manufacturing and invention. Opportunities for advancement within the corp What I don't really have an opinion on: POS Warfare W-Space operations Ventrillo/Teamspeak access What I don't want: Low sec piracy Mission running Hauling/Trading Mining. I don't mind the odd dash of mining, but i can't stand doing it everyday. A "nomadic" corp that moves from one corner of the cluster to the other - I don't think i'd have the time for that. A corp that's going to force me to be logged in at a certain time for an operation. My main will be eve-mailing/convoing interested parties for additional information.

Our corp is 0.0 PvP based (60 members) living up in the north with approximately 700+ members in alliance. We have a very successfull K/D ratio (90%) and we pride ourselves on our organization and experienced leadership. Also, we are primarily European and North American time zone pilots (half-half). We offer daily roams and larger fleets on weekends, as well as capital fleets. We are not friendly with Goons or the ex-GBC. We currently have lots of fleets up 23/7 ... We also fly with other blue alliances in the neighbourhood so there is always someone to fleet-up with. We use alliance ventrillo and our own private corp channel. If you're looking for a friendly group of guys, but with lots of EVE experience (including FCs), we may be just what you're looking for. A strict SP limit of 10mil and above will also be required. New to 0.0 PvP? That's fine too, we'll get you educated Razz As a couple guys just out of the GBC we have a good amount of higher alliance contact both within and outside of the GBC and plan to go one direction or the other once numbers have reached the desired amount. As I stated that we are pure PvP, we run in 0.0 in multiple regions and are just out to have a good time. Killboard (http://crimsonempire.lahti.us/kb/?a=home) and Voice Comms are active. At the moment we are looking for primarily US players (all are ok, US preferred) whom are self sufficient and just out to kill. While we aren't the largest group around, we are expanding to continue to make XII Legion a fun, active, and lethal corporation. You are right around our average age, although we have members ranging from the age of 14 all the way through 60 (don't worry, it's more mature than it may sound, heh) and our members are mostly either EST or PST in the NA timezones. You can check our killboard at XII Legion Killboard Let me also take a moment to address your points for corps: We're a fairly mature bunch, though we do enjoy having our fun. Most of our members are 22+ with only a few exceptions. We acknowledge that RL MUST come first. School, work, family...any of that has priority over internet spaceships. We live by that code, and whether it's only a few hours or 20+ a week, we're not partial so long as there's a desire to participate and we know if RL is bogging you down. XII Legion is almost constantly at war or under contract, so teamwork is a must. All new members undergo trial periods to ensure that they are capable of meshing with the rest of the team, so anyone that's left after this time lives teamwork everytime we log in...we have to to survive and do our jobs right. Even if it's not a war-time environment, assistance is always offered and given for just about any venture that you may have. As mentioned earlier, XII Legion is a small Merc/Combat corporation, so there's usually no shortage of targets...unless they spend the week docked in station. While we're not exclusively EST, about 2/3 of our members are either in the Eastern or Central timezones, so you'll fit right in with our active times. Although we spend most of our time in combat and most of the downtime making ISK, we do have some members who partake in Invention and Manufacturing, and I'm sure they'd be more than happy to assist you in those endevours. There is opportunity for advancement in the corporation, however you must realize that it will not be quick advancement. If members want to move up in rank they have to prove they're capable of handling it, honorable enough to carry out their tasks properly, and trustworthy enough to be given the chance. So while it is possible, it won't be immediate. POS Warfare - while not our favorite activity either, we do get a reasonable number of contracts for Empire POS takedowns, so it's a necessary evil at times. While not our standard choice of location, we do occasionally do W-Space ops to hunt or to kill sleepers for isk. Ventrilo/TS access: We absolutely require that members have a mic and Ventrilo...preferably TS as well in case we ever need to work with a group that uses it for comms. Our standard rule is no mic = no entry, either to corp or to fleet. If a member isn't on comms, then they aren't flying with the gang that night, no exceptions. Comms is life in our line of work, and we refuse to compromise the safety of the fleet by having members that can't listen to orders or report situations. I hope you find what you are looking for either here in this information booklet snickers or with another corp. We hold space in the southern part of the Providence region, including a system that borders -A- space. We're a mature group and you'll have no trouble finding alliance and corp members to PVP, plex, rat or run Manufacturing and Invention with. Providence is regularly home to the most violent system on the map and sees every kind of PVP on a daily basis, from 1 and 2 man cloakers through Recon gangs, HAC gangs and 200 man Sniper BS fleets. There are capital operations, but the vast majority of PVP in the region is fast-moving small gang work. No lag blobs, no boring POS warfare.
