Joint Effort, don't make this a "gratz tri" thread, our ninja-brosefs from White Noise did an amazing job.
More information as soon as we stop singing on Vent.

Alert Alert Damage Control!
It's funny how people write stuff like "maybe now you will achieve something", "maybe you are not worthless after all", "maybe you won't disband this time" OR "maybe you won't disband so quickly this time".
The thing is ... yea, I am gonna say it: You don't "GET" TRI. :P We don't care if people think we are good/bad. We don't care if we have space or not. We don't care if we disband or not either. We rather rock hard and play this game with as much fun as we can possibly get for 4 months than be some 0.0 joke and exist 4 years and write the occasional "XYZ turns 4" birthday-we-achieved-nothing-but-kept-a-name-for-4-years thread. If we are able to do that with an amazing partner in crime like White Noise: even better!

Confirming that: - holding space = FUN - sticking together, even thou all the good guys left = FUN - being forced to NAP terrible alliances in order to survive = FUN
Confirming that: - not having to worry about Sov tickers = BAD - disbanding and "rebanding" just to come back stronger = BAD - beating the NC to a pulp = BAD
TRI is and always will be work in progress. We evolve (hi Molle) and adapt, guided by one simple principle: having fun. If this means that we will disband and regroup a few times, so be it. But hey, your corps like totally have short alliance histories, which is really awesome. Good job!

No we haven't. And besides the NC consists of several alliances. It's seldom been this peaceful actually. The only thing I can even remotely think of is some TCF renters who are booted but that's not even a NC issue, I'd assume that's where you come from.
Probably most people will refer to that, you are right. However its an open secret that MH and G-FED are annoyed with saving IRON ass all the time or being blueballed, IRON however assumes that those two alliances are spy-infested and OPs fail because of that (and ****-poor attendance). Then you got your Pet's pets/friends called Avarice, who like to fly with MH/G-FED, but despise IRON. The dynamic gets even more momentum when The Council. as IRON Pet's enter the stage and so on and so on.
TBH I think the diplomatic aspects of holding such a huge group of alliances (to get away from the dreaded NAPfest stigmata) must be quite exhausting and I wonder who deals with all that sh*t now that Orree is gone, who was quite capable in that aspect.
Whatever structure you (NC HC) think you got up there, its alot less stable than you think it is. Wait, when did SHC/GBBS adapt to the EVE-Colortheme? Oh shi.... erm ...
Ninja-edit: LOL NC! FAIL! LOLZ! I like hot moms too! LOLZ!?

The more I read about your alliance, the more I get the feeling that Nooto is the only capable player you got. Of course you can blame everything on spies (like IRON does), but don't you think you disregard the fact that your entire alliance (700-800 pilots statically speaking) can't setup a gang with more than 20-30 pilots in it? Or that IRON is so scared abour OPSEC that they fail to include their allies into their plans/traps/setups and then (usually) everyone dies? Or that Mostly Harmless is tired supplying capable FC's (sup Lou) for a coalition of very mediocre players? (p.s.: loved the outburst yesterday Lou, go tell 'em like it is!)
You guys make it so easy, reducing your failures to the most simply equations. Even if we have superior intel, if half of your Hulk pilots would jump into a semi-pvp-capable ship and listen to orders, communicate better with each other and try to make PVP ops "fun", then you would have alot less problems and maybe your leadership wouldn't worry about what empire system to chose as a safehaven after you get kicked out from the NC. I genuinely want all of NC to rise to the challenge and become worthy adversaries (kinda where ME are headed, still some way ahead), but you chose to search for excuses rather than evolve your gamestyle and maybe try to have fun again.
Just sayin ...

We live a alternative life style, kinda retro-hippie-thing we got going up here. Its a symbiosis of TRI and Guristas. They supply us with faction ammo and stations, we protect them from evil carebears. Works quite well so far, with a few friedly fire accidents inbetween.

Just be patient we will be back soon and then we can do some quality pvp. Let's home this time you don't failcascade after only a month like the last time.
We should really stop leaving north as rats tend to breed once cool cats are not around.
TRI ARMY FAILZ BEST!!! (I wonder what you should in local now)

Originally by: Jay Dilla Looking at the recent BIG battles I've seen maybe 1 in the last 3 months were numbers were somewhat 4 to 1. Are you forgetting your friends WN now?
So your point is that we're not fighting outnumbered 5:1, but only 4:1? Tbh the whole number game is not THAT important. What we (TRI) don't like is NC having their forum squadrons running damage control when they don't even try to get in situations where we could cause them damage. They blueball not only us, but also their members for 2-3 hours constantly on ops.
To really strike back at us they'd have to eventually take a risk and when that moment comes, we can finally talk about pvp and how the NC would hold up against a perma-disbanding-failure like emovirate. I have a feeling we'll do better than most people expect.

Originally by: Jay Dilla I do agree on whole risk taking thing, but it can be justified easily. While Tri has a solid base of players who have money and know how to fight in different situations there are alot of ppl of NC participating in recent battles in fade/pb/venal who lack all of that. So while NC has the numbers, but it doesnt have the discipline and organisation and sometimes dedication to do what they do to effectively fight Tri+WN
So to reduce it to two simple statements: - NC don't take risks - NC lack discipline/organisation/dedication
What exactly are they doing in 0.0 then? This is not meant as smack, even if it very much sounds like it. But 0.0 is supposed to be the endgame stuff in EVE. You survive in 0.0 and you have proven to be better than others in the X, Y or Z aspect of this game. If this X, Y and Z characteristic is nothing else but "we got more friends", then it reflects how poorly 0.0 warfare / sov is designed. If it was up to me the whole 0.0 was NPC space and you can only venture as far into the depths as your courage/balls take you. No risk, no reward/fun.
Originally by: VoiceInTheDesert
[serious, reasonable post] To really strike back at you, we'd have to be able to take some of your space and force you out...currently you run out of npc stations and hold nothing for us to take.
Look, you're good, I'll give you that. There are victories on both sides and from watching killboards, it's really just about who brings more ships most of the time. When we outnumber you, we tend to do better. When you outnumber us, you tend to do better.
But to be honest, you're hit and run guys. That's respectable and a legit tactic, but it's not like you're winning a war here. You're a well organized group (you and WN noise together, just for the record) that does what it does very well, but until you manage to hold some space and not just run out of unconquerable npc stations...I'm not sure what you're so proud of. [/serious reasonable post]
Frankly I am stunned that I never get better arguments than "you don't have space, you suck". The irony of claiming that "holding space" is the real deal and not "conquering space" (as your alliance and most of NC have never done it on their own) is baffling. I appreciate your attempt at a serious post, but tbh its more of the same old same old.

Originally by: Fred0 1. TCF/RZR/RAWR have abandoned probably over 350bill monthly in moon income to go fight another war away from home. That's a risk no?
No, because you left all your pets in charge and occassionally send up TCF to flex some muscles. Saying you took a risk because you left your fortified systems with all your pets to protect your moons is like saying that everyone of us is taking a huge risk by leaving your house/appartment everyday without a house sitter. We inforced two RAWR towers for giggles (and to test the reaction) and had all your Pets come and defend it.
Originally by: Fred0 2. We've decided to fight a war in a region we really have no long term interest in, that's both a huge risk and a huge challenge no? This is the epitome of dedication and organisation today in EVE and so far we've proven far more resilitent than for example MAX was.
I'll give you that such a large campaign must be hard to both organize and manage constantly. But again I dont see the risk factor. Its not like say RZR and MM paired up and said "lets kick bob in the balls". I know that both RZR and MM actually got it in them to manage something on their own, but the whole political situation forces you into the large blob that you got at your disposal. Additionally your enemy was at his weakest when you actually started the massive campaign with no JB-infrastructure and no sovereignity, some luxuries that are very important to the security of your very own space.
Originally by: Fred0 3. We've decided to carry the fight to the homes of the alliances that we currently perceive to be probably the best when it comes to territorial warfare. That's about as big as a challenge ever gets no?
Again: you can't cut off their limbs and then say they are just as strong as their reputation, which was built when they still had those limbs. You can be the best territorial warfare guru there ever existed in EVE, if you start THAT handicapped, you are bound to perform below expectations.
Originally by: Fred0 you need to educate me abit on the risks TRI actually take in EVE currently. The rewards from your point of view are pretty easy to distinguish but the risks are abit harder to distinguish unless you count it as a major high risk adventure to beat up on pitchfork armies.
When I talk about taking risks, I mean putting it out there on the field. The phrase "fock it, we'll fight" when facing very bad numerical odds, bad tactical situations and in your pets front yard (i.e. a long way from supply/reinforcements) is quite common on our Vent. We can't (and don't want to) compete with your definition/example of taking risks in EVE. You think "empire, longterm", we thing "fun, today". From your perspective placing an Outpost in M-O instead of whatever system may be deemed a "risk". To us its about undocking, jumping 10-20 systems and losing ships and pods, while we cause as many explosions as we possible can.
Originally by: Fred0 text about our unevitable disbandment
Like I said many many times before: we dont care if we are called Tri Mk45 by the end of the year. If disbanding and regrouping is what it takes to maximize our fun in this game (while at the same time reducing tedious job-like stuff, i.e. pos fueling on a large scale, running indu stuff, etc), then every single pilot in TRI will be on board when we once again epicly failure cascade. I personally take one good weekend in TRI over one year in some other alliance.
