Tired of scavenging the electronic battlefields on your own ??? or just on the lookout for some like-minded 'old-timers' ???? |SNR| Seniors is multi-gaming clan that is on the lookout for players that enjoy a good game of CS:S, COD4/5, and MMOPRG's like WoW, Guildwars and off course EvE. Although we consider ourselves competitive, Skill is not an issue in this. What we initially want is to find more 'online friendship' and play the games mentioned, in good spirit, together with a good bunch of people. Our members nationalities span half the globe, from Finland to Spain, from Poland to Ireland, from Slovenia to the Netherlands and even the UK are represented ... The minimum age for joining up is 25+, where the average age of the clanmembers nowadays is approx 36. Our oldest members are in their 60's and our youngest members are in there late 20's, so what we've got to offer is a nice mix of 'life experience' and 'youthful enthusiasm'. Since most of us have children that we need to change diapers for, read bed-time stories to, and put to sleep we hardly see action before 21:00 CET, but after that you can always find some of us online until the early hours. We own a dedicated server, located in the UK to support our gaming needs and currently we use it to support - 3 x CS:S servers ( 2 Public & 1 Match/Training server ) - 3 x COD4 servers (2 Ranked Public & 1 private match server) - 2 x L4D server (Publics) - 2 x UT3 servers (Publics) - 1 x BF2 server (Public) - 1 x COD WAW (Public) - 1 x TF2 server (Public) - 1 x DOD:S server ( Public ) but new games will be taken on just as easily when we feel like it and our members enjoy it.. Further more we've got - a Ventrillo server (40 slots) for our VOiP needs, - a fullblown website www.snrclan.com - everything else we need to keep in touch. To gain experience we have regular practice nights on monday,wednesday & sunday, and also try to arrange to occaisional friendly war to put our practice & tactics to the test before deploying then on the field of battle. My current corp consists of guys who introduced me to the game a long time ago, however their activities are far from my interests, and they play much less than back in 2007. About myself: I am Hungarian, living and working in Poland. Registered in 2007, then hybernated for a long time, just returned. My char is a Minmatar fighter, 2mil SP, flying a Thrasher, soloing lvl2 missions at the moment. Can fly cruisers, could fit one easily, but for lvl2 it is overkill and boring, for lvl 3 not enough (with my skills). So I am going for a battlecruiser or T2 cruiser, perhaps. Can post list of skills, attributes, if needed. I am mostly interested in missions, since I don't have much money and I fly solo. I would love to go out to low sec with a band of mates. :) I can make myself useful by escorting or guarding miners, if needed, plus joining for missions, of course. And if there are a few minmats in the corp - so much the better. :) My playing hours are similar to yours: a few hours late evening (8-11PM) couple of times a week, more on the weekends. On any night you'll find approx 8 to 20 members online. We think of ourselves as 'well-organized', to the extend where there are a number of people playing different roles as you would expect in any decent corp in EvE. Activities we are involved in: - Missioning, everything between lvl 1 and lvl 5 missions. - Mining Ops, everything between solo mining, ice-mining and mission-mining. We also have our regular "Friday Night" mining ops where we try to clear (also known as "Attack of the Roids", or "Friday night fireworks".). - Fleet manouvres, try out new skills, builds, move together, learn new roles ... all in preparation for our next war/PvP. - Exploration, Some of us venture into low-Sec and/or Wormholes. - The occaisional War-Dec. (which seem to spark something special, but we're always glad when things return back to 'normal'). But most importantly, we have fun together, helping eachother progress, and growing as a corp, where the whole is more than the sum of all seperate parts.
