ok if i put up a POS in 0.0 space or WH. and i park a hulk at it. i fuel the POS and the shields are up and running. and i put in the stuff for reinforcement.
if someone comes along and does not like that i put it there so they decide to Pop it. what happens?
lets say they eat the shields up. can they then fly my hulk out?
do they have to completely kill the POS structure and all to get the hulk?
what does reinforcement mean in a POS?

After the POS comes out of reinforcement they have to finish off the POS after they can eat your guilds Hulk....

I had similar questions about reinforced mode 2 weeks ago, so the thread with my questions and very detailed answers might be worth a read:

When the POS is attacked its shields will decrease down to 25%. When it reaches this point the tower will go into reinforced mode for the amount of time allowed by the amount of strontium (You can see how long this is on the manage screen of the POS). At this point all arrays on the tower which use CPU will go offline. The shield strength of the tower will not decrease or increase while it is in reinforced mode. When the tower exits this, the remaining shields armor and structure can be shot down.
The forcefield is not linked to the "shields" on a pos, even though it appears graphically as a shield. The forcefield will disapear when the pos is destroyed (I believe it has been changed from the old days when it would drop at half structure). Any ships at the pos can then be boarded and flown away, and any arrays at the tower unanchored and taken away.
Your hulk will be fine in there until the POS leaves reinforced mode and is destroyed.

Here's a quick summary:
You put the Strontium Clathrates into the POS to give you a certain amount of reinforced time. you can vary this to any time you like, up to the maximum capacity of the strontium bay.
Someone comes and shoots your POS until it goes into reinforced mode. It starts eating the Strontium and goes into a mode where it's invulnerable. You can still get things out of the hangers, but production stops. You can't unanchor modules though. The POS contents are still protected from intruders.
When it comes out of reinforced (i.e all the strontium is gone)- you'll know what time that is from the eve-mail, the enemy will know because they noted the timer when they put it in reinforced. Anyone can fly up to the POS and look at the timer by clicking on the tower.
Now two things can happen: 1) you get in and defend the POS, repping the shields back up (who knows they might not even show up) or 2) they show up and finish it off. At this point they can remove your stuff, including your hulk and any POS modules that they choose to unanchor.
A trick that some alliances use is to sneak in while the POS is under initial attack and adjust the strontium to make sure it comes out of reinforced when they have maximum players available and/or the enemy has minimum available.

Slight correction, you can only vary the Strontium while the shields are above 50%, so if someone takes your shields below 50% and leaves them there for as long as they like, you can't change the stront, and it won't hit reinforced until they drop the shields to 25%.

Ok first, technical point, it actually consumes all the strontium it needs to set the timer, then fixes that timer. Normally this makes no difference, but if you gain sov while in reinforced, you can sometimes get another hour on the end.
You CAN'T get anything out of structures that require CPU (Silos / Hangars / Assembly arrays) even though you normally can while they are offline.

Don't need to click, the timer is hanging there in space for all the world to see.

Which works unless what I mentioned in point 1 happens.
