Why use 'mortal' means of childbirth, when you can just use artificial wombs?
The offspring will be much more adapted to the stress of medical cloning, considering it first woke up in a test tube already.

So your a pod pilot stuck in your goo traveling the universe killing the masses. But what about those jump clones? What if some Scumbag gets off um "doing" things to your JC's and you end up in a pregnant clone or your rear is a bit sore for some odd reason?
