So i found another epic bug brought to us by CCP with the latest patch. Most likely a consequence of the new cloaking 'features', i bring you the invisible tackler.
[ 2009.05.15 10:13:53 ] (combat) <color=0xffbb6600>CHECK AD (Widowmaker Heavy Missile) hits you for <b>95</b> damage
[ 2009.05.15 10:13:53 ] (notify) External factors are preventing your warp drive from responding to this command.
Couple with this screenie taken at 10:13:55 (unfortunately it doesnt show the damage message, bad timing on my part), you have a bug of epic proportions.

That is an awful bug. Still I can't help but notice all that white on the screen yet you managed to miss a couple spots:
Local channel changed to BNX-AS
Stargate (F9-FUV)

CCP has modified the default setting for overview and some other stuff.
Have you checked that something has not changed there?

I did. In fact, i did it as i was dying - all ship boxes were checked. An overview bug was my first thought, so i zoomed out to see if i was missing something. As you can see from the screenie, there were no ships to be seen.

All I can advise you to do is:
1) Petition your loss including screenshots and gamelogs
2) Submit a bugreport including screenshots and whatever logs you can find.

Is it just possible you do not have rats on your overview? Look back further in your logs.

Did he hide the system he is in? Nop. Its right there quite visible... What he hide was chats for the obvius reasons that a person that lives in 0.0 will know... Are you sure you play EvE? stop making yourselfs look like fools...
This is yet another good example how SISI works, it is nothing more than a sandbox playground, what is tested there is ship setups, and the BH's crew stays there waving their BH tag like it meant a sh****
If proper test had been done this would had been noticed... Get real CCP how did you missed this?
I'd report that bug and demand a ship back :(

They haven't missed it... They wanted ECM not work while cloaked... But suddenly MWD stoped working while cloaked and instawarp became possible... They reverted changes, but suddenly looks like it has affected Tackling devices...

Actually he posted new screenshot... (Read "edit" remark) That message that you quoted was posted 9 minutes before editing, so it's looks like Screenshot was changed just after this was said...

Sounds like a special kind of overview bug/hiccup .. one thing most of the stories have in common is a cloaking ship not showing on overview once "engaged".
I would postulate that the overview does not update properly and thus never actually shows ships once they de-cloak.
Would need to test it by forcing an overview refresh, done by de-/reselecting the relevant tab (does minimize/maximize still work?)
