I have the same problem altho I get a slightly different error...would suck if I missed that masstest tonight 
I've been trying to fix this so far no luck, repair tool didn't help, making a new copy of TQ then update to sisi again didn't help either. fix please ^.^
Btw > I use Win 7 Home Premium if it matters |

The sisi launcher is no longer supported. You have to use the eve launcher to update the test client now.
CCP has updated the steps of how to access SiSi here. |

The launcher (not the old, now-unsupported one made for creating a Sisi install, the new one) tends to break for a lot of people when used with a Singularity install. You need to create a shortcut directly to \bin\exefile.exe and add " /server:Singularity" (without quotes) to the end of the target field under shortcut properties and use that to launch your Sisi client, and use the repair tool with the option " --server=sisi" (again, create a shortcut, this time to repair.exe, and add the quoted part, without quotes, to the end of the target field) to update the client whenever a new update is released or if you need to convert a TQ install to Sisi. As long as CCP cannot into programming that's what you're forced to do. |

Uhm, I think both me and the OP meant the NEW launcher that is the standard EVE now, not the old Sisi launcher...
I also have been using the shortcut on my desktop for over a year now, and has usually worked fine, that it's not working is really rare at me.
And I'll try it with the repair tool to restore sisi(instead of using the repair tool not linked to sisi restore), hope that will fix it. |

tried repair exe again, this time with the shortcut fixed, and still giving me the same error
and since i can't copy and post it in here or i get the we were ganked error i can't show it
ah well, i guess im gonna miss the masstest than sadly since ccp fcked up their patch >.>

I made a new copy of TQ AGAIN, and now it seems hopefull, It's updating atm. Altho it's just the question if it will fully update... |
