i did some testing today after the rollback and i noticed something odd.
is it possible that the mwd can not be activated until you have reached a certain percentage of your base speed ?
i think it couldbe around the 1/4 mark. if that is the case then i there is a massive bug. if you hit just a fraction of a second before that illusive % you will not be able to activate at all. it seems like there is a problem with what your client is sending and what is being returned, like ... the server cant keep up and just blocks you from activating.
this results in the percieved 3 second delay. either you hit the sweet spot or you are boned.
has any one else noticed this or is it my imagination? 9 out of 10 times i seem to have no problems on a cov ops with the mwd and cloak combo. but whenever i try to be extra fast i get the problem (lost cov ops just then \o/ )
this is not a whine. i m looking for answers. eve is such a complex game and it is extremely hard to get reliable info/data.

I'm convinced that something is borked to do with Gate Cloaks. The Delay ONLY EVER happens at gate cloaks for me, and this combined with what would appear to be some ships not appearing to decloak for some people, (See the numerous invisible predator threads cropping up).
Could be that while, for us the cloak is disappearing, its really not going away when it should and thus, we are in fact staying cloaked (partially). Until you try to enable a module a few times, the server denies the requests and then "Catches up" to where you are. ___________________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

yea i know that this was in since the patch yesterday and before that on sisi but i am trying to figure out if there is a link between the base speed, the dial on your instrument panel that indicates the speed, and the delay.
the activation delay seems longer on a battleship than on a interia stabbed frigatte for example.
anyone else notice this?
