Can anybody please recommend a good low-sec area to for pvp/pirating. It would be nice to be somewhere which has a busy high-sec market hub near by so I can buy ships and fittings and which would also provide some hauler targets in low-sec.
Thanks for any help.

Not everything gets handed out on a silver platter. Sometimes you have to work for it. The map tool is quite useful if you'd bother to use it.

Amamake and the surrounding area is a safe bet, 3 jumps from Rens.

Ahh yeh, the map thingy. I wondering what that was for. Well, I will start at the top and work my way down. Should only take a couple of years. I not looking for anything handed to me, just a steer in the right direction. Maybe when I find a home you could come and kill everything for me and bring the stuff to me at the local station, I wouldn't even need to undock then.

If I wanted stats on how many people have been killed in the last hour or occupancy etc etc, then yes, I agree i will just look at the map. Has anybody asked a friend to recommend a bar or restaurant? Same thing that I'm asking. I could just pick up the yellow pages to find a restuarant but I would like some real world feedback. Let me rephrase the question. I understand that there is a map I could look at but I was just wondering if there are any areas in Eve whrere players have really enjoyed doing a bit of PVP.
At least I got 1 positive reply. Thanks Akiba.

Jan and the surrounding area will deliver a fight all day every day, and a good one at that.

So..you consider Anonymous posters on a forum for an internet space ship game to be your friends?
BTW: You'd have just as much luck demanding a restaurant recommendation from strangers on the subway.
Best of luck to you.

If you want to gank carebears and miners, the best places are areas of 0.0 that the controlling alliances are at war. The warring alliances best PvP pilots will be forming fleets sitting in a PoS at the front while the miners/carebears are on their own in deep 0.0 space. Time your flight through their space while they are doing fleet ops. You can get a good idea when this is by watching the contested systems and near by systems population on the in game map. ----------------- ôItÆs too late to work within the system, and too soon to shoot the bastards.ö |

Jesus christ! What is this? The word police. I'm just asking for a bit of help in a GAME! Talk about pedantic Malarkie. No, I don't consider people on a forum to be my friends. I would think that people with nothing postive to say would have better things to do. Obviously I stand corrected.

Try this site mate
http://evemaps.dotlan.net/
The most violent systems etc. It should lead you to a few areas. Sounds like you are looking for a low sec mission hub to pirate tbh.

NO IT'S THE SPACE POLICE NEEE NARRR
Check out the area around evati/todi leading up to Akkio/Tasti or go up the other way towards Gusandall etc. Plenty of stuff to shoot if you look for it. Hagilur is fun too (3jumps from Hek) and you get to pop over to rancer and friends
