Recruitment is currently OPEN
Lone Star Academy (LSA) open to new applicants!
LSA was founded by Halada, the writer of the Complete Miner's Guide! For the love of Industry in its entirety, from mining to building capitals, supercaps, inventing and now recently added wormholes and T3.
LSA is a small empire based corp to train new miners who may want to join Lone Star Joint Ventures (LSJV) in 0.0 but do not have skill points to apply directly to LSJV, or who which to support LSJVs ship production via mining in high sec.
Minimum Requirements:
★Read Halada's Mining Guide Version 3 http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1020825
★Have Mic and Head set
★Able to use Ventrilo and Team Speak as this will be mandatory while you are in space
★ Mature players, preferably over 18 years old of age
★ Must be resourceful (be able to find answers on your own when no one can help)
★ Motivation. You are entering a brand new family.
★ Sense of humor is a must. Stuck-ups need not apply.
Strongly Recommended
★Being able to use a Retriever and Tech 1 Strip Miners
What We Offer:
★ Corp forums and Ventrilo server
★LSJV Mining program for Hi-Sec Ops and MANY mining ops
★Training for Miners to to Mine in 0.0.
★Training Miners to mine during Wardecks
★Teach basic PVP skills
★Contact with Experience 0.0 Sec Miners
★Graduation to LSJV (Lone Star Joint Ventures) our 0.0 Sec parent.

★ Rate: if boosted, approx. 3-4mil/h after corp tax.
Once you have the following you can then apply to LSJV for 0.0 Access.
★Can fly and own a Hulk with HaladaÆs 0.0 recommended setup
★Can use T2 Strip Miners
★Can use T1 Crystals for Crokite and Bistot
★Can fly a Fleet Fit Battleship consisting of T2/Named Fittings or Logistic Ships
★Can fly and owns a Hauler capable of hauling 27,500m3
★Can use 2 jump clones
★Must demonstrate they are an active and team player
★Successful interview with an LSJV officer

had Our first multi corp mining op today. slow start
We have had several offers to join alliances, sadly I need to get clearance from LSJV for that and they don't want the corp to align with anyone yet.
But we have been able to bring members of those friendly alliances to join us on our mining Ops.
This Allows a Mainly PVP Corp/Alliance to be able yo give something group orientated for their handful of miners to do.
Those miners get a juicy ISK payout- more than if they mined alone- and some company on the mining expedition. In return LSA get the company and even more minerals get sent to LSJV for their Ship replacement program. |

What about people that like mining and hanging out with like minded folks but don't want to do a lot of 0.0 but like doing WH? I have 2 toons and both can fly hulks. And I can fly the Orca and I have one. My orca skills not maxed yet. Oh yeah I'm an old fart(53) been gaming since 1977 played D-n-D and Traveller and other's. I would also have to leave my current corp, ony has 4 members and I'm the most active haven't seen to of the members online for over a month.

We are focused on Mining in high Sec.. we have tried some worm hole space but we won't be activily hitting living in worm holes space.
We hang out and minge as a group... Right now we are doing a 14 man mining op.. the 4th on today, and 2nd big one.
Hmm you are 53... that is close to our average age then. Well most of the corp is older as we like the slow pace of shooting roids.
You sound close to beable to take the option to head into 0.0 space... but that is only an option, you can enjoy being a lifer in LSA and stay in Empire.

Yes. We have plenty of folks that don't have a hulk yet.
Is there a path for promotion?
Yes. If you get tired of mining empire ore, you can apply to null sec parent lsjv and mine the good stuff with them.
Are there any players in the [EU, US, Aussie] TZ's?

LSA was founded by Halada, the writer of the Complete Miner's Guide! For the love of Industry in its entirety, from mining to building capitals, supercaps, inventing and now recently added wormholes and T3.
LSA is a small empire based corp to train new miners who may want to join Lone Star Joint Venture and Wildly Innapropriate.(LSJV)(WI.) in 0.0 but do not have skill points to apply directly to LSJV, or who which to support LSJVs ship production via mining in high sec.
Minimum Requirements:
★Read Halada's Mining Guide Version 3

★ Have Mic and Head set
★ Able to use EVE Voice as this will be mandatory while on large ops. LSJV use teamspeak, so if you want to join them you need to be able to use that.
★ Mature players, preferably over 18 years old of age
★ Must be resourceful (be able to find answers on your own when no one can help)
★ Motivation. You are entering a brand new family.
★ Sense of humor is a must. Stuck-ups need not apply.
Strongly Recommended
★Being able to use a Retriever and Tech 1 Strip Miners
What We Offer:

Once you have the following you can then apply to LSJV for 0.0 Access.
★ Can fly and own a Hulk with HaladaÆs 0.0 recommended setup
★ Can use T2 Strip Miners
★ Can use T1 Crystals for Crokite and Bistot
★ Can fly a Fleet Fit Battleship consisting of T2/Named Fittings or Logistic Ships
★ Can fly and owns a Hauler capable of hauling 27,500m3
★ Can use 2 jump clones
★ Must demonstrate they are an active and team player
★ Successful interview with an LSJV officer

I would love to join you. I love mining ops. I'm a 22m+sp hulk pilot. Unfortunately, I don't have a mic. Moneys a bit tight right now so I might not be able to purchase one this month but it is on my list of things to get. I've read the guide a few times but havn't see v3 yet I don't think. I'll check it out.
