Hello,
I am currently using a destroyer for L2 missions but I am training to be able to fly Amarr cruisers (especially Maller). I mostly have all relevant support skills at 4 or at least 3. But I strugle to find a fit for Maller as I do not have any experience with Amarr ships or energy weapons.
I have endlessly played around with EFT but still it is just a support program and will not give the feel of real thing and I do not have the desire to buy different setups just to try it out.
So whoever finds time to help me with a fit for Maller with the following requirements in mind I would be very glad: 1) Suitable for L3 missions (and the harder L2 also of course) 2) T1 equipment only please (the equipment should not cost me more than the ship itself )
Thanks in advance!

Maller is ideal for L2, though you'll find L3s heavy going. By that point you'd probably want a Harbinger.

Generally you want cruiser for level 2 and battlecruiser for level 3. I would plan on using harbinger for level 3's. I would probably skip Maller, since it doesn't have a damage bonus, and DPS is the important stat for missions. If your drone skills are up, use Arbitrator, or if you want a turret boat, try Omen something like:
[Omen, New Setup 1] Heat Sink II Heat Sink II Armor EM Hardener II Armor Thermic Hardener II Medium Armor Repairer II
Cap Recharger II Cap Recharger II Cap Recharger II
Focused Modulated Medium Energy Beam I, Amarr Navy Multifrequency M Focused Modulated Medium Energy Beam I, Amarr Navy Multifrequency M Focused Modulated Medium Energy Beam I, Amarr Navy Multifrequency M Focused Modulated Medium Energy Beam I, Amarr Navy Multifrequency M Focused Modulated Medium Energy Beam I, Amarr Navy Multifrequency M

Well now I wouldn't say that...
Harbinger is the way to go. Maller just can't fit what you need to fit to survive a level III. Train the extra day and fork over the extra 22 million isk for a Harby. You really won't regret it. Yes, I roll a legion. |

I used this fit once for lvl 2 missions. It's using range and/or damage as tank more than the actual armor. No good for lvl 3 missions though, you will want a Harbinger for those.

Drop the core launcher for anything else if you don't want to go for anomalies and such. Also keep a set of multifrequency crystals around should anything get close.
