I understand, that I can exchange them for stuff...but I must say...I will never need 99,5% of this stuff. Faction Ammo..ok..but I like to buy it on stations with isk and no pseudo currency like LP. I do not need superduper set of implants for Level4 Missions or yaddayadda-blabla launchers to shoot something at someone.
I have many millions of LP for caldari and amarr and concord. I have no Idea what I should buy from them.
What is the best way to make isk of them and become rich.
Please do not tell me to exchange them into something and sell it.. I have no Idea what those modules are particulary good for or how much they cost, and to be honest - I am not really interested in knowing about them. I am sure someone is allready making a business of that science.
What would you do with your LP-Points? It would be cool if we would be able to change them to plex...

CNR, buy one and contract it to me. But srslyuse it for faction modules if you got tags, or buy and sell implants. |

They cannot be helpful when you have closed off all avenues through which they can be useful. You:
- Want to know what to do with your loyalty points so you can make ISK
- Do not want to spend them on items for personal use
- Do not want to spend them on items for resale
The only available option is to do nothing. Perhaps in future CCP will add an option where you can trade loyalty points for ISK without having to do anything; in which case you'll have a reasonable stock.

Basic solution: Buy implants, sell implants. Eve goes through more implants than Beverly Hills. If that is too much work to figure out, just ignore them.
The UI is getting better (on SiSi), but please, jump on and try the new inventory system. Let's try to avoid another 'Incaran/Door' issue. The Unified Inventory is going to potentially anger a lot of players, go try it and see what you think of it. May 22nd is just around the corner! |

Most of the stuff in there is on the regular market these days, so you can just look there and get a decent idea of what it costs. If you can't be arsed with doing the maths GÇö they will have, and will have a nice margin. Just undercut them a bit and set it to 90 days duration, and it'll get sold eventually.
If you can live with not making stellar returns, you can always just pump it into ammo and starbase charters GÇö they sell in bulk and you can get rid of it quickly.

Then you only have a few options left if you want to get rid of the LPs:
1) exchange for stuff and give away
2) exchange for stuff, jettison into space and blow up
3) exchange for stuff and refine and play with the minerals
4) exchange for stuff and destroy them in station

You could cash them in for processing skill books. It's not like there aren't 200,000 on the market because they came with expensive implants...
Or you could cash in for those expensive implants and just sell them.
Or as people have stated, leave them where they are. They don't cost you anything. |

I notice that the most trolling posts always come when the US is online.
To the OP: Obviously you should spend them, but keep some aside in case fancy new Faction ships are brought out in the future (Faction Tier 3 Battleships).
Typically, the best way to spend them is to spend them on the blueprints, especially the Damage module blueprints.
Faction ammo and implants are also a good thing to spend them on. |

The LP store is a bit of a UI disaster. The layout, the long list of obscure names, and the disconnect with the market interface mean a half dozen clicks for checking the price of each item. It's a lot of busy work to find the hot products. But there are some solid suggestions above.
External sites are useful to do the research. E.g. the LP store database for the items and Eve Central for the prices. Neither of those are UI genius either, but better than the in-game tools.
If they are really planning on making LP prices "dynamic" in the near future, I hope they are able to accompany that with a better interface between LP store and market prices, because it would be a complete hassle to have to constantly re-do this research using the current tools. |
