Artemis Rose Sileo In Pacis The Space P0lice	Posted - 2009.05.19 02:52:00 - [3] In my personal opinion, a pulse sader is the best against non interceptor targets and the taranis is best dogfighting interceptor. For the Sader 4x Dual Pulse II w/ Scorch 1x Gistii-B MWD 1x 24km PT 2x OD II 2x Tracking Enhancer II 2x Energy Locus rigs (optimal range rigs) You want the Gistii-B MWD as it uses less cap than a named/T2 one. You do still have cap issues, so take breaks from firing the lasers from time to time. As for the Taranis. I haven't flown this one much, but I'd try. 1x Neutron 2x Ion 1x Offlined highslot 1x MWD 1x 2pt 1x Web 1x DC II 1x Magstab 1x Overdrive 2x Warriors *** Currently Playing: Trolls from Outer Space Current Equipment: VISAcard chain mail, +2 Amulet of Epic Whine, Self Banstick +2 WTB: +666 E-peen killboard stats

Anyway, for solo use: Taranis for general purpose, dogfighting inties and suiciding into stuff. Be afraid of AFs. In the above examples, the best inties for killing AFs are the ones that can stay out of scrambler range, as the common AF fits (close range guns, ab, scrambler) are limited in that aspect, and they usually can't tank more than like 60 dps. Obviously a MWD+Scrambler AF (one that is commonly fitted as such is the Jaguar) will kill a Crusader with ease, an Ishkur with Warriors might also be a problem, and stuff fitted with long range guns (like an arty claw or wolf) will make any long range inty run with its tail between its legs.

When you take this into account, the best interceptor is the rocket crow.

The blaster raptor dies to the rocket crow the exact same way a standard blaster taranis does. The taranis can be fit better than that, has the EHP to last while getting inside blaster range, and the DPS to kill the rocket crow when it gets there. The raptor, however, has neither. Yes, the raptor is generally considered even weaker than the crow. Unlike the crow, however, the raptor deserves this reputation. You can make decent raptor fits, but they will still be rather weak.
