Just checking to see if I need to go in and pull my market orders. I'm going to take a break from Eve while I catch up on some other games, and I wouldn't want 10-15 million units of Trit to disappear into the aether. :)

I'm not sure what happens to market or contract orders that are live if you let your subscription expire. But in my opinion all orders should be removed from the market and from contracts after you sub expires just like skills stop training.
Ghost training was eliminated in part because it was an unfair advantage to non paying customers. Same thing should be true with all market orders and contracts. Why should a non paying player be able to continue to make ISK if they are not paying for the sub.
CCP should put an end to Ghost Orders and Ghost Contracts if that's how the system currently works.

Hi, cat here.
Things such as research points and market orders were stated by one of the devs (torfi maybe) as being under consideration for being stopped also during the fallout from the GT removal.
Not a fan of the way the GT removal was implemented really, but regardless, one of the points made by opponents was that "it gives players something cool to come back to." I can agree with that to a certain extent. Imagine you hadn't subscribed for a year, and were reconsidering it. Would it sway your choice if you knew you had x amount of datacores ready when you reactivated? Would that cash injection help you get back into the game? I'm pretty sure that I'd be more willing to resub if I knew that I had a treat waiting for me. Maybe they should leave something?
A player who is actively subscribed could gain a greater advantage by using the same research agents at the same level, for the same period of time. Reason being simply that they can cash in the RP, churn the ISK, and create more at the same time.
