Quote: This mission involves objectives requiring a total capacity of 18800.00 cargo units, but your active ship only has space for 594.38 more cargo units in it's cargo hold. Accept anyway?
I didnt grab the name of the mission before declining it, but the mission requested i move 1880 units of scrap metal 2 jumps over... unless you have a spiffy set of cargo expanders, only the iteron 5 can haul that kind of cargo in one trip (i have one, but its elsewhere). Not to mention the fact that it only had an 86k + 86k reward and bonus. Hardly worth the effort for the single iteron 5 trip, let alone making it multiple times in a smaller indy, or even worse a cargo cruiser!

Just got that one last night, 13k cargo...a nice change of pace i suppose, but as you said, the rewards were alittle too low for my tastes. Glamour Bunnies Entertainment Corporation

Maybe this is a little taste of what the level 4 missions will bring

Just an idle question: What does 1880 units of scrap metal reprocess into?
Perhaps it would be worthwhile to "fail" that mission instead of decline it.

I've done that once before - when I got asked to transport 75 or so named cargo expanders to another station.
They were tragically "lost" en-route. So sad.

Had that one yesterday too. I had to move 17940m¦ of scrap metal. AS I had my Iteron V at hand together with 4 CE I and a named one (about 19%, forgot the name), I thought I could take it on. Well imagine how my face droped when I saw that my entire cargo space was exactly 17939.8 m¦
Hurrah for giant containers...

That's how one goes about getting science grads for their Research Agent - gotta "fail" a transport mission.

got that mission yesterday too, did it with a badger II, 2 runs was what it took, and i made the bonus (i had to do 5 jumps per trip though).
As for refining it, out of curiosity i decided to look what it would refine too, but they're tradegood, they don't even show up on the reprocesses list :)

I did the same thing and checked if they would refine (considering how bulky they are) but yes they are a tradegood
