I've given up going into WH's after 7 of the last 10 I've found were completely ****d over with people living in them. In one case two corps each had set up a POS and were each trying to kick the other out. It didn't matter much where I found them high-sec or 0.0. Nearly every single one I've come across had a POS in it.
It's like heading out to sea in a boat and every "uninhabited" island you come across has a McDonalds and a Starbucks on it. Lame.
Some "solutions" or in other words retribution for camping in a WH Sleeper NPC will randomly call in a 100 ship cap and BS fleet and pummel any POS set up in system. Sleeper NPCs when farmed will occassionaly escalate to a new level more dangerous than the status quo and for 24-48 hrs and actively hunt down and destroy any player caught anywhere in system. Behaving much like the faction Navies or Concord. Increase the total number of WHs, but decrease how often they open up to real space or any other WHs. In other words you go in, but it might be a while before you get back out.

First off, there are no player stations in wormhole space. If you mean Player Owned Structures, well thats a different thing all together.
Second, if you honestly want rats at moons, you must have never heard of "Ratting on Easy Mode"
Third, WTF is a plents

I support this. My corp's Wormhole deathstar can kill sleepers while we sleep!

Id love to see roaming fleets of sleepers in random systems, give systems a feeling that you are venturing into an unknown empire as opposed to systems full of complexes. -------------------------------- To borrow a phrase:

Isnt the number of wormhole systems on the order of 3000+? Perhaps where your finding wormholes has some sort of influence on what systems you link to? -------------------------------- To borrow a phrase:

I think you may just be really unlucky, I rarely find inhabited systems, and we live in a wh - we consider it bad luck to find a pos

My corporation has been operating in W-space since the beginning. We have had POSs in W-space since the beginning. Finding 10 systems in a row with POSs in them is a rather strange situation, very rare and a bad stroke of luck. While its not uncommon to find POSs out there, there are not people in EVERY system.
I would prefer more site spawns on a more regular basis, roving rats(maybe even probing rats), etc. But to change the entire dynamic by bringing God-Mode fleets in at random to punish enterprising corps is rather ridiculous. A similar request would be to start bringing in huge CONCORD fleets on alliances in 0.0 because theyve killed to many pods(which is "in no circumstance legal")...im sure that wouldnt go over well...

Edited by: SupaKudoRio on 21/05/2009 03:46:30 Having sleepers attack POS sounds like an interesting mechanic. It would still fit into the story for the sleepers as well - taking out hostile strongholds within your territory is pretty defensive behaviour. Idea needs refinement though.

Actually watching the NPC's go "Right, enough of this! Behave yourselves" and randomly invade 0.0 enmass would be brilliant, especially the resulting punch up: obviously CONCORD's exponential respawn mechanic would need to be turned off for such things.
Now I think of it the NPC's doing something... anything... rather than sitting there being shot would be quite good.

I disagree seeing that the sleeper rats are technically defense drones and not actually the sentient sleepers. It wouldnt stand to reason that the drones would conclude that you shouldnt be there and plan a course of action. At least i dont think it would.

Personally i think this would be a brilliant idea to have the various rats do stuff in 0.0. But for concord to basically wardeck an alliance for killing pods would not go over well with the 0.0 alliances because they are getting extra punishment for defending their territory. A similar case for corps putting up POSs in w-space is just added harassment added to the pain of managing a POS with constantly shifting supply-lines as is.
