The aniversary of the 'P-NERF' was last week. It has been 2 years since it hit. To those who said we'd fold ... well ... we're still waiting History After averaging around 70 war decs a week Privateer Alliance gets greedy and decides to up the ANTE. Privateer Alliance War Decs 187 corps and alliances in an event to come to be known as PEW-PEW PALOOZA. There is outcry from the carebear player base in the game. CCP loses spine and lays the slapdown on war decs .. which is nicknamed the 'P-NERF' ... This makes war cost restrictive INSTEAD of a base price for each war. BEFORE the NERF comes into effect ... Privateer Alliance goes out with a bang ... they war dec 217 corps and alliances ... NOTABLY #217 was against CCP itself. There were many tears to be had on both sides. The aniversary of when BC Hastings (Alliance Executor) picked up where others left off (05-16-2007) has come and passed ... Congrats to him for keeping the alliance alive .. especially in those trying months AFTER the NERF. Well ... Here we are 2 years later ... we've adapted and are STILL plying our wares. The doctors have since said the condition has gone into remission, and I have been given a clean bill of health. Thank you Privateers, for all the hard work you guys do. From the ground soldier who roams around looking for the targets, to the command staff who keeps the decs comming and making sure everyone has fun. The game would not be the same without you. And that would be a bad thing. Every little corp that thought they were big **** in some lowsec seemed to eventually get the wardec, which always managed to pick off some of our fresh meat lol.
