Since the latest patches, NPC rat loot positively stinks! Anyone else notice that CCP really nerfed the loot tables? Also, it seems like missiles are once again tossing battleships around like toys. A cruise missile spun me around 180 degrees!

/me look at his 5 accomodations that i got inside 2h of npc huntting and tonns of other stuff
nope - i noticed nothing ...

I have noticed that as well, my mission rats now seem to have an over fondness for basic items, as im finding loads in their loot.
Kinda depressing when you expend quite a lot of missles on those cruiser rats and all they drop is a basic inertial stabiliser or sommat

yebb they suck now
took out a 1.5m Tyrant, two 750k Lords and two frigs of some sorts, in other words three battleship npc's, the highpoints of the loot was one large multifreq crystal and one normal 1600mm steel plate, not even a single no name turret... apart from one small medium pulse

doesnt it depend on when you play ?
think i read somewhere that loot/ships are picked from a pool, so the more players, the worse loot/NPC pirates
so in that case, its not a direct nerf, but a side effect from the fact that more and more players play EVE
i might be wrong tough :-/

hmm, i got 4 named small and medium rails from one kill mission last night. doesn't seem so bad to me.

hmm...i've made 5 times more money off loot in the last 2 days than i've ever had before. Gotten a true sansha item, loads of named armor plates (1600 rolled tungsten) and plenty of other stuff. Then theirs mining ops where you can pick up 8k zyd off one hauler...But this is the first time i've seriously 0.0 npc hunted too....

Iv noticed that missiles are throwing u round like a rag doll also..
if u are taking a beating, u have to allign and try and warp out way in advance...

I've found loot drops seem to come in bursts, a whole load of named modules will drop in one night of hunting, then I go back out the next day, and not only do I struggle to find good battleship spawns, the ones that do spawn drop rubbish, or at least nothing remarkable, for sure. Try as I might I haven't seen any consistant pattern of spawns or loot drops, very much up and down

So, if one day i find something realy good, i should go hunt a lot more, and if i find only crap after quite a bit of time, i better go play Americas Army?

I mainly hunt gurristas in my hunting system(sometimes blood raiders spawn too)
gurristas loot is terrible, 1 in 20 batleships will drop a named siege or a named XL booster, bloods are a much better, i have a few named large lasers and a couple of named large repairors, and the spawn frequency of gurristas to bloods is easily 5-1.

I dunno it's odd. last monday I picked up 25 Arbalest Standard Launchers inside 4 hours of spawn camping, but ever since than it's been crap, I feel lucky when I see a named dual 150mm Rail.

well I keep getting small hull and armor repair...damn had ones 12 repairs and 10hulls from one mission..level 2

Seem to be up and down lately...some nights...I am getting tons of cools stuff...other nights...just items that i will reprocess...
More modules than weapons lately....which fine with me...sinc I will sell most them anyway...
