Yes. I pay a monthly fee to destroy a game and have been doing so for the past three years. After I've given CCP hundreds of dollars only then will they know how much they've been owned.

Actually, Goons didn't defeat BoB.
Did they kill BoBs fleets? Did they kill their towers while sov4s where active? No and no.
They just stole the name.
A name of alliance, only thing they did.
Goons wouldn't ever conquer delve without disabling the alliance and there by 'exploiting' the poor game mechanics.
And that's just cold fact. Everyone knows it, people are getting sick of this immature spam, wich is known as 'goon posting'. And by end of this year, goonswarm is gone.

After reading the locked MM / Goon thread I cannot help but think that I told them that goons would be a great deal worse than BoB ever was. So, enjoy what you all have created, a game without BoB via eating the scraps that Goons allows you to glean from the trash they leave behind.

Both were/are arguably detrimental to the game
