so what I done is:
1. make a copy of my TQ folder 2. downloading latest patch from http://www.eveonline.com/patches/patches.asp?s=singularity&system=win&edition=&n=88974 3. trying to install it
it doesn't want to install... so how to fix that?

I have tried copying my eve folder, the TQ to singularity patch won't instal, says the files don't match and the installation maybe corrupt.
So I clicked on the link to download the full client and installed that. I tried applying the latest test server patch and it says the same thing.
If their patching process is borked it might have been nice of them to put a note on the patch page, then I wouldn't have had to waste over an hour downloading the bloody thing.
If they want people to do free testing for them they should probably be a little more organised as to not **** people off.

Got it work yesterday. First step was to download EVE_Premium_Setup_88974_test_m.exe from the Offline files. Extracted it and installed it. From the install directory ran eve.exe. At the log on screen it presented with the update option, I selected ok. It downloaded patch, exited game and installed the patch. Restarted game from test directory and was in.

I'm testing it now. Thanks for the info. I'll post back here with the results!

Same problem, patcher says "files don't match, may be corrupt" when I can use that copy to log in to EVE
