hello,
my question is simple, is there any use for sleeper tags (the blueish stuff, eg. Sleeper Data Library) , beside selling them to NPC buyorders?
i've seen several sell orders above npc price, but well...that doesnt have to mean anything.
hope u guys from industry and science can give me an answer.

This is the biggest mystery to me why someone would put ANY of these things up for sale, simply sell them to NPCs and that's the only use for them. --

Laziness, just like with anything else on the market that you can pick up for less than true market value. The one caveat to the sleeper 'tags' is that only certain corps buy these and some regions don't have any stations from that corp. Oh well. Makes me a bit richer.

To be clear, they're a replacement for bounties on Sleeper rats. The obvious distinction is that you can get blown up on the way back and someone else gets your bounties. That's all they are. ___ My views may not represent those of my corporation, which is why I never get invited to those diplomatic parties... Environmental Effects

it also so that people can't just park a char (or two) in worm space and farm sleepers like they already do in 0.0 backwater systems. They have to get back to empire to actually get paid. - In essence, any combat related activity involving damage has been 'speed nerfed' to just take 6 times longer with a predetermined outcome coined balance by CCP. |
