Yes, I'm waiting for this one too! Ever since it was advertised as Imperium Galactica 3 and then as Galaxy Andromeda...
Sounds very promising and with my new computer delivered in 10 days, I feel like I've made the right move at the right time!

Thanks for the heads up I just pre-ordered it. Apparently you're going to be able to mod it and script missions which will be extremely cool. Especially as it does have a multiplayer option, could get some really good scenarios going if the mod tools are good enough.

I wont be hapy till I get another Wing Commander. I want the Victory and the Concordia back... hell, I'd even take the Midway or the Tiger's Claw, even that wierd ass border world's carrier from Wing Commander 4. I want more Wing Commander!

IG3?
The team that did the first two IG games ended up making IG3 in the guise of Haegmonia: Legions of Iron if I remember correctly, which sucked pretty hard as well. I ran through most of it in the space of a day and was most unimpressed.
The nexus demo/ Yeah - it's HARD. The fact that you have no help or real introduction to get you used to the controls is a bummer as well.

No need to be ****ed off. The space sim genre was very much in decline at the time, and it's dead now. No sales. No new titles. Days of the snub fighter are dead; it's all large fleets, capital ships, trading, or strategy sims right now.
