Back to topic, A pirate corp is someone that makes a profit from killing/ransoming others. Makes no difference if its low sec or 0.0 and yes there are corps out there that still succeed at doing so, but it is far more difficult to do now since prices have fallen so drastically on items in the last few years.

Ur mistaking bordeom for weakness.

But ever since invention the price of mods had dropped so dramatically that its simply not feasible to fund an eve existence off of loot. NPC refined loot has done nothing to help, its driven the cost of everything down so much that gate camping is again not viable as an income source. add to that jump freighters, CLOAKING HAULERS (lol wtf where you thinking ccp), Jump Bridges, warp to 0, etc etc. real pirating is long gone - sad but made that way by ccp. there really isn't a place for them in eve anymore, but i eagerly await the day that ccp makes their existence viable again and i know the other Dragons do as well. ---------------------------------------------- Sig removed. Let`s clear the air here.... I was the last CEO of m0o, the decision to close the corp was made my Lord Zap and I during the 3rd coming. There were many small reasons that added up to the decision. One of the main deciding factors would be the leadership. I was the only leader left that was active, and solo running a high profile corp is a lot of work, a lot of work I no longer had time for. Second biggest reason is our reputation helped our downfall. Everybody knew who we were, and most simply refused to engage us unless they had 2-1 or 3-1 odds. Which worked fine for a while, but the odd`s started climbing higher and higher and just became ridiculous. So naturally we started getting bored, and finding replacement pilots became pretty difficult. As nobody really trusted m0o. Which is probably because of all the times we simply admited recruits, robbed them killed them then booted them. Lots of factors came into play but those were some of the major ones.
