Hi
For sometime we dont see fighting indy's here
I made my BadgerII as a frigate/inty killer
High slots 150 Hybrid Prototype Micro SB (type kinetic its for missiles) OR S Nosferatu (best you can find)
Medium Slots 1 Targetting thingie %57.5 1 Webier 1 20km WS (for little clever inty pilots ) 1 ECM (for a little time gain) OR 2nd Webier 2 Caprec (the best one you can afford)
Low Slots 1 Capflux for nice cap charge (and %10 cap total loss) 1 small armor repairer (if things goes bad) 1 Targetting thingie t2
I have 97/100 PG and 562/115 cap recharge
waiting for your interesting setups for BagderII or other indy's
Fly safe

Drop the cap rechargers, you NEED dual web and a warp scrambler 20km one. Rest can be 1 ecm, or whatever. I would use micro aux cores in low slots and some 200mm\400mm armor plates. Dont forget a small gun in high slot, eventualy a smartbomb if you have grid. ----------------------

never use the flux coils and i mean NEVER, they will steal away total cap for cap recharge. by doing so u will lower your cap and cap recharge at the same time, use cap power relays instead.

Just cuase i am feeling nice. Blaster in high slot. with smarty or nos. mids... Warp dis 2x Webber ecm burst 2x cap injector lows 2xsmall armor rep 1x 20% all hardener
Fill up with ammo and cap boosters. If you get any indy or frig webbed with both he will go down you just sit on him and fire away and ecm burst to keep killing his lock. 0verkill Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean we aren't out to get you.

yeah use a cap injector for sure, especially when you have 6 medium slots.
the larger cargo hold ships should always consider cap injectors, I mean even a vexor and stabber, but it's harder on those ships since they only have 3 medium slots to work with. I was in a 10 player cruiser fight a while back and I used a stabber with a cap injector, I went through like 16 cap booster 150's or something, worked good.
The smelliest part of setting up an indy for fighting is that you want to armor tank because it has so much more armor than shields but you can't fit a medium armor repair... Actually didn't they boost the small armor repair? maybe it's ok then now to armor tank.

Out of curiousity, how many days does it take a Badger II to lock onto an Interceptor?

they actually lock faster then a bs. Plus the fact that an inty thinks he can kill you easy. You just soak the damage and when you get a lock you triple web him and let the gun rip 0verkill Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean we aren't out to get you.

I've often wondered if a combo of sensor boosters and multispec jammers might make escape easier. Fighting Interceptors is one thing but occaisionally you run across a dual MWD Blackbird, Scorp or Raven specifically setup to gank indies. You're not going to beat them in a fight but you might be able to get away from them. The jammers would also still work on frigs.

Actually i have killed serveral ceptors thinking they would get an easy hauler gank kill (much to there surprise) using this setup.
High: (1)125 railgun, (1) small smartbomb Med: (1) 20k warp dis,(3) multi's, (2) statis webers Low: (2) Cargo 1's, (1) Small Armor Repair
Use the smart bomb to destroy incoming missles and the lock time really isnt that horade due to the fact that most frings/interceptors use microwarp drives. I usually run with a friend or 2, but this setup works very well alone. Nothing like WTF PWNING and ceptor in a Hauler :)

Why not use a cap relay (20% cap recharge, penalty to shield boosting which doesnt affect you) instead of this and free up the medium slot with the cap recharger, so you can have another webber?
