While most recent posts in CAOD have been focused on the conflict between -A-/Kenny and Goons/NC in Querious/Delve, or the shananigans of Tri in the north, Immensea seems to have changed ownership without much attention to it. A lot of people seem to have had fun at the expense of United Legion, with Aggression alliance being the ones to gain SOV of the systems United Legion has now abandoned. United Legion seems to be either withdrawing to Detorid, which is a SOV mess, or giving up being a SOV holding alliance for the time being.
I'd like to invite parties involved to comment on the dynamics of this part of the south where one seems to be able to also find a lot of pew pew.

Agression well only FOFF are known, sadly Agression i dont think really anyone likes either so how long they keep that space is questionable.. They snuck in the back door really whilst everyone else is down south. As they have had some help from Atlas, I guess they are friends with -A- not sure how that relationship works if RA/XIX decide to try their luck.

Aggro and ATLAS worked together to assault Immensea space
UNL did fight, they didn't give it up, but they fought and they lost
they also asked for it - securing I-N 11 moon station system with 3 POS, for example... was only a matter of time before someone less careless took the space
now, ATLAS are interesting because they constantly field over 100 capitals alone, and are basically the new sothern region superpower along with AAA
given that Aggro/ATLAS are allied, I think Aggro are in a strong position and their alliance shows considerable promise (certainly they fought similar numbers against UNL and won very convincingly)

When atlas took omist from UNL, they put up a great amount of effort using delaying tactics. The didnt fold up, they continued to spam towers after we destroyed them and were an overall pain in the ass. They do not seem to be doing this again in immensia which means they have something else going on. Expect to see more of UNL in the future.

That or the ISK reserves are low, and they can't POS spam etc. Maybe explains why they held I-N with only 3 towers. UNL hold no R64's that I'm aware of, and lost their pet income after you guys took their decent space.
The omist defense was likely rather expensive for a medium sized alliance with not many resources.
This is just hypothesising though, for all I know UNL may be the richest alliance ever to grace eve!

unl held PS before the goons left, and i'm assuming at least half the moons, plus I believe two in omist and 1 in immensea (supposedly there is one), prior to us and aggro kicking them out of immensea, they had the immensea one and one in detorid.
as far as immensea goes, it actually does have alot of 'decent' ratting space, no very low sec but plenty of 3x1.55 space which is good enough, its certainly better than geminate, vale, scalding pass and wicked creek, among others.

TBH if UNL doesn't fold because of this I'll be surprised. A lot of their corps seemed ot have merged elsewhere or with their larger Russian counter parts. They tried to delay in E8, however seems their will to keep Immensea is dwindling. Honestly bragging about us being better than them is a bit short sighted. Aggro / Atlas shuffled up UNL and helped them on their way out, and we'll take a stab at holding the space.
I remember being ****ed at UNL for constantly resetting standings with IRC, yet in the end the fights were always fun. :)
Good-bye from Immensea UNL and thanks for all the space. ;)

Ahahah =)))) nice response from goonies to alliance which now is dying cuz of supporting GS against AAA. When horn of Goondor sang "CALLING ALL BROZEFS TO ARMS!11", UNL was there. UNL is still alive. When we left our old space AAA didn’t have any distractions left. Before AAA turned on us I had a heart to heart with John Caldr where we pledged brosefness forever and allied secretly in the event AAA turned on us (they did). UNL is still alive and in immensea, they are working with Death and have many alternate homes open for them if they ever choose to take it. I offered them the TPAR constellation in period basis but they choose to stay and fight, we never forgot UNL and we will support them in full force once we secure our new space something they are aware of and we try to talk when our time zones allow. We miss you John Caldr

I don't know, after the experience I had as a member of their renter alliance I can't say I feel overly sorry for them. Granted I think the two corps they had in paragon soul were a unique situation. Yes, other than the UNL help that was sent to defend every once in a while, there were ONLY two corps in paragon soul at the time stain and friends came in.
Otherwise I'll doubt they'll go away permanently.. They'll probably be back in PS Esoteria at the least if goons starts expanding eastward again. Think that was UNL's biggest problem though, their regions were too spread out. But yeah, think UNL popped up as an alliance around the same time as RA, which was shortly before the fall of the old Phoenix alliance.

even if you could be bothered helping them, you can't because you're busy in querious
it really does not take a genius to work that out
Funny, I don't see any mention in my post of the swarm going to immensea. You don't even need to be a genius to see that, basic reading comprehension should have covered it already.
Lookin forward to your attempts

Dude.. Aggression is a new alliance.. they made one unsuccessful stab at some space in Wicked Creek and were steamrolling Scorched Earth until Scorched's masters showed up in serious numbers. Now it looks like Aggression regrouped and thrust out at another useless alliance. This time UNL was squashed and Aggression has taken system after system with Atlas only helping in one, maybe two systems from what I have heard.
Just to be clear: that was 2 complete failures in Wicked Creek and from listening to the recording of the meeting aggression held afterward blaming the french corp mates for the failure over a holiday was really really funny.

The same french members saying something along the lines of; ''Make the french loose a few ships and the alliance will failure cascade'' was pretty funny too

Bah.. the first was like putting your toe in the water... they were only a few corps big I think.. more like F-OFF made the first attempt.
The recording was funny but I think you missed out on the sarcasm.....

The Goons are paying them to settle in Period Basis, not the other way around.
Hell, they tried to get friends to take Querious, but nobody was interested.

Blah Blah Blah, UNL got kicked out of their space, AGGRO took the space. I didn't see any goons there, why mention them? "AGGRO are Atlas pets", "They got their butts kicked by BYRN"... come on, half you guys posting this were never in 4-E, you're just responding to see your name in a forum so you feel witty, oh so witty. TCF showed up and saved their pets. "They aren't our pets", "We heard your TS meeting." Congrats, you got a spy in a corp, go sell yourselves to Goons for a region why don't you. Now with that said, by all means Goons and NC nappers, go ahead and smack away, no really, you'll feel better and baby kittens will cry your name in their sweet sweet sleep.

UNL might have reached the end of its life as a legitimate alliance... or at least.. reached a major hibernation period.
I would love to go help UNL, but AFAIK they haven't asked for it.
Ahahah =)))) nice response from goonies to alliance which now is dying cuz of supporting GS against AAA. When horn of Goondor sang "CALLING ALL BROZEFS TO ARMS!11", UNL was there. When time came to get some allies duty support from GS, "we are sry but we are fighting for new space in west and we dont rly give a f". I strongly believe, the only alliance which supported goonies cuz of sorta sympathy and not just desire to kill BOB.
lets be reasonable, its not like goons are sitting around on their hands in their new regions.. being under attack by multiple alliances and all.....(yes i know they have others with them, but the fact remains, theyre on the defence)
its not like AAA did this damage either mate, aggro did the vast majority of it and kudos to them for scratching out a region to call their own.
