I guess that those who have the BPO will make a few ships quick to get some income then pop the print into a labslot. You got to remember that any builder worth his salt will be researching to e.g. ME 10 and maybe even PE 5. Looking at the stats on screenshots posted this will likely take up to 3 weeks. Come on folks just be a little patient, the ships will be here soon enough.
Also look at the price of the tech 2 components. For example the graviton reactors. I am trying to find some reasonable priced ones to build a raptor from a bpc i have. The cheapest i have found are 240k each and i need 31. Do the maths thats 7.44 mill for the reactors alone. add on the other components, bpc price, rams and the prices quoted for interceptors on the markets are more than fair. the other elite frigs will drop as more ships hit the markets i am sure

The greatest problem is that tech II components are very rare, thus tech II ships, are very expensive. if BPOs for those components were realesed, or agents would give them out more... the problem would be partily solved. the other part of the problem is, that insurance for those ships are screwed up. they're practicly uninsurable. that makes them at least 3 times (insurance usualy costs about one third of the ships building costs) more expensive than regular ships.

as for the peopple moaning no one should pay more then 30 mill for one (and they should be the first person to get one because...)
DEMAND = SUPPLY
there is currently a HIGH demand and an extreamly low supply (as only a few bps in the game and each frig takes hours to build). so the Equilibrium (were demand and supply meet) is Extremely high up.
this is very basic economics, and i am sorry to say the way the world works, live with it (not that you have a choice in the matter).
its common sense!
