Covert ops, stealth bomber, force recon and black ops can fit and activate them.
Only black ops ships can jump or open bridge there.
Covert ops, stealth bombers, force recons, blockade runners and I think black ops can use the covert bridge to travel.
As far as I know, the Covert Reconfiguration subsystems have a typo in thier descriptions and in fact can't fit covert cynos and can't use covert bridges.

CCP says they should in the patch notes. If they can't, that's a bug.

Seen conflicting info on this:
Black ops can use both covert ops cyno and regular cyno, correct?

Originally by: Grista That's right. Black ops can jump to any kind of cynos, but only bridge to covert.

Hmm, that's right, they should be able to use covert bridges.
However, there's a dev post in GD, where the covertcynogen-typo was mentioned as a bug, so no covert cynogens for sure.

Edited by: Rajere on 02/06/2009 01:06:55 Any ship with Jump Harmonics 2 can be bridged, which currently is any ship which can fit a Covert Ops cloak (including T3 with Covert Reconfig subsystem) and Black Ops (though this is ******ed and you'll never bridge a black Ops, they have their own jump drives) Covert Ops, Stealth Bombers, Force Recons, and Black Ops can fit a covert cyno gen, though it's only useful on Force Recons Black Ops can jump or bridge to Covert Cynos, or jump to standard cynos (including POS cyno arrays)

They can bridge to normal cynos just fine afaik. (I've been bridged to normal cynos in a recon in the past for testing purposes - don't think anything about that changed)

Does anyone know for sure if t3 with covert sub can fit a covert cyno? It's kind of the entire reason I want to buy one.

No, they cannot. Not even if fitted with the cov ops subsystem. And this is not a bug - the description stating it can is a bug.
Rajere digged this up. See Linkage --

We've tried bridging to regular cynos a long time ago and it worked, then tried again later and it didn't (like a month or 2 later, a few patches in between). We rarely use normal cynos so we don't really test that often. Everything I've heard from people who do use normal cynos since this time has said it doesn't work, so this would be interesting if it's been changed (again). Do you remember when you were bridged to normal cyno?
Less than a month ago. I know for sure it was a normal cyno because we didn't have any pilots with cyno theory 5 at that time. We bridged a rapier and another recon. It was also on tq not sisi.
Unfortunately i don't pilot a bops (yet:) so i can't do any tests now. I'll try and get a mate to help me test it again the other day.
I don't know if anything changed since then (pretty sure nothing was in the patch notes) but it most definitely did happen less than 4 weeks ago. --
