Main reason for this would allow players who are not overly familiar with what all the various GM's and Dev's do within CCP, know what they do and as such when a question is asked and responded to within the forums, we the players will know which department has responded to it.
Basically its nice to know that your having your kitchen fitted by a kithen fitter and the carpets laid by a carpet fitter. Whereas at the moment, for all we know the Russians are having theirs fitted by a painter and my bathroom has been tiled by a butcher!
Looking forward to some response to this please, and lets for once not troll it to death.

We would probably have to hook the forums up with our internal staff database to display it on the side bar...but we could ask devs who post on the forums to have their title in the signature like I do for example. I think you make a good point and this would help players know what each dev does.
p.s. Navigator is Lead now. He shoots up the ranks so fast it's hard to keep track ;)

I added my serious business title to my signature, I always do what CCP Guard tells me!
