Tonight loyal Amarrians once again demonstrated that they have the capability to cause Minmatar terrorists to tremble in fear.
In response to a Minmatar incursion to Amarr earlier in the evening a joint Amarria Auxillia and CVA (PIE, Imperial Dreams & Dark Seraph) fleet was put together and ventured into Minmatar territory in its hunt for Minmatar terrorist dogs.
Word of the large Amarrian fleet spread and to the despair of the black hearted Minmatar murderers they could do nothing about it.
teh hawt > Huge Amarrian fleet headed this way, if anyone is interested Methan > hmm corp war or some thing ? teh hawt > The amarrians are coming Dendar > ta hawt, we know teh hawt > rgr teh hawt > /emote looks around. teh hawt > But if this is all you have, I'm sad to say it will be a losing battle. DelaKar > this an event or corp war? teh hawt > War DelaKar > kk lol don't wanna get ganked mining if it's an event teh hawt > Might get ganked anyway
The Minmatar terrorists, who had been gathering a fleet in Gelfiven, melted away into space.
The Amarr fleet continued its patrol - catching and podding just a few unwary terrorists - but its job had been done. It had reminded the Minmatars of the futility of their struggle against the Empire.
One of the Amarr pilots captured THIS short video as the majestic Amarr fleet continued its patrol.
Later on another combined Amarrian fleet including members of the Manu Forti Corporation entered the Amarr system of Kheram - home to a number of notorious pirate corps who have plagued local businessmen.
The Amarrians successfully destroyed a pirate Scorpion and and Armageddon of The Short Bus Stop Corporation.
Their duty fulfilled the Amarrians headed for home...

Vinknut - just to reiterate what Gaius said - Ceratin was referring to our later op which he and some of his corp mates attended and saw the destruction of two pirate battleships.
He was not commenting on our operation to Minmatar space.
As for needing two hours to defend our own bases sometimes we do - sometimes we don't. Last night we already had an op arranged for about an hour after your terrorist fleet turned up in Amarr - that meant that a lot of our pilots had not yet reported for duty.
I gave orders for those who were available to stand down for an hour as no doubt if they had gone up against your fleet, outnumbered as we were at that moment, we would have been reading about it here today
As it happens I doubt that had we started the op an hour earlier whether you would have hung around anyway, as I doubt your fleet would have matched the +45 ships gathered by loyal Amarrians last night.
On our trek down to Minmatar space we did hear reports that around 10 to 15 Minmatar ships were being gathered in Gelfiven but this wisely melted away as our fleet approached terrorist systems.
We knew when we gathered this fleet that it would be unlikely to be brought to battle - that was not the point of the operation.
The point was to demonstrate to you terrorists that regardless of your minor victories recently that the CVA and Amarria Auxillia are still here and still doing our job.

Wren you are right to some extent...
...but campaigns are merely the culmination of a series of battles...
While recent posts by the Minmatar terrorists forces would give the impression of a dead and dying CVA on its knees I felt it was time to redress the balance.
I also find it amusing that you should have a go at this report when on numerous occasions the Minmatars have posted similar reports which have been met by congratulations from yourself. No claims of boredom then...
But you are biased are you not
As Hakera has said the war has reached a new intensity. Clashes and skirmishes happen on a much more frequent basis than previously when there might be the odd fight on an irregular basis... as a result there is much more coverage of this.
I am sorry if you are bored by this Wren. For me it is merely the by-product of the epic struggle currently underway.
