Thanks all for some really good advise here, you guys/gals rock!
Amin, great reasoning behind issue #3, that makes totals sense to me, now I understand why that would be in place. However it seems that could be the draw back of a player only market. I should be able to sell my Minerals to NPC factions, at a decent price maybe?

I suspect it's going to be about 6 months before people start dropping them, until then picking one up will remain pretty much a lottery (and usually dependent on people losing them through some sort of bug, which is hardly ideal IMHO).

Isolo, I recently left a corp that I was with since the beginning of Eve and started my own. Allow me to suggest a few things:
1. If you have not already done so, start your own corp. Even though your name suggests that you like to be a solo-type, acknowledge the fact that if you want to get anywhere in Eve you must either have multiple accounts or multpile members working towards your goal. Eve is not a game where solo members have an advantage over corporations, even small ones.
2. Do not search for office space and R&D slots near Yulai, you will have a hard time finding them. Search is places with 0.1-0.6 sec status. Take a weekend and fly all over empire space, check EVERY research station. Of course it's boring but office space and R&D slots are out there and ready for the taking.
3. Once you have found an R&D slot in a station, say one here and one there, populate them with BPs for longterm reserach and visit them regularly. I got 6 slots in a single day because some noob didn't pay his bills or his slots were left inactive for a period of time.
It's not easy, but I did it . . you can too . . it's a boring job but current game mechanics make offices and R&D slots rare.

Go to the outer space regions, there are plenty lab slots avail. they only handycap will be, you will have to "risk" a little more.....
Don't ask "can i have your stuff" because i'll give it to everybody else than you! |

but about the minimun selling quantity's
err, if u dont want to buy less then 10k, thats fine, but then i can i select a buyer that DOES take less than 10k at once?
i cant sell my little bits of minerals now :S
aah feck it, ill just mine some and sell it then.
But it still sucks that i cant select the one i wish to sell to
just my 2 isk
