Originally by: Sun Wu Edited by: Sun Wu on 14/09/2004 07:57:20 I think the main change over the time I've followed the forums came when the game went live, until then this place was on another level in terms of post amounts, thread lenghts, well thought posts and so forth. After retail came it slowly turned into something abit smaller, with people doing recruitment threads on one side and discussing politics on the other side. From before retail the change is that politics now are actually tied to ingame actions.
The connection to real stuff means you get more emotions from people attached to waht they are posting, and you also get a whole bunch of people spewing forth lies, inaccuracies and personal opinions that at best make you laugh when you read them. To each his own. There are always the rules as a line out there, you cross it and you can expect things to happen. And yes, while it sounds bad to some people it's frankly none of our business what goes down between the mods and forumgoers in regards to a situation, as the rules quite clearly state. Atleast not on the forums. Send emails or whatever if you wanna argue but I really doubt they'd comment on anything regarding their choices in the case of another poster if you ask them, those choices are things that according to the rules atleast are meant to stay between the mods and the person in question...
Well my friend,
This is all very true. But let us do a what if situation.
What if an excuse was being sought to justify an action?
And say a person was asked would provide the excuse needed for that said action can happen.
This of course is all circumstancail and has no bearing what so ever on the current situation. -------------------------- Vist the Jericho Fraction Forums
