This is not a tale of an experienced scammer at work, but instead, this is a tale of a noob that came into this game hoping to make ISK. When I started out in the game, all I did was mission run and canflip in highsec... then I found that boring. I pawned all my assets and ventured into lowsec (usually Kubinen, but I migrated into Tama) with just a measly Rifter. Bad idea for a 2mil SP noob to enter lowsec, right? Seeing my crappy potential with the Rifter, I began to resort to not killing people, but instead ninja-looting the wrecks of fights in front of the station. I made 100 mil off this in a month - and then it was boring. I thrived for some more ISK and something more fun. I read up the stories of famous scams of Currin Trading and the GH-SC's multiple heists... and even the spy story of BoB's destruction. I became attracted to the readings of James 315 and The Mittani. So... what can a deaf and crappy SP-placed Minmatar noob with -6.6 sec status do? I started looking into making my own scam - one where I would study the psyche of a couple of people (in this case, they were scammers/trolls/regulars of this very forum) and use it to my will for my own ISK. I was only doing this on a small level as a testing. I've edited the chatlog and taken them apart piece by piece - with my own little explanations of said pieces. -continued

Lana Torrin, Dian'h Might, AND Lexa Hellfury (not in this piece) were the primary targets and I've studied them for the past few weeks or so. Lana is an erratic person, going on all tangents. Dian'h is a slightly helpful person, but will do anything to strike fear into a person if he's given the opportunity. Lexa is... well, the only thing I had to him was he wasn't compassionate or sympathetic and I knew he had a fat wallet - but I'm good at changing the emotions of a person to me, so I used that to my will.

Going right from Rens being dead for renamed ship scams to stealing corporations in one blink of an eye. This part was primarily subject to targeting Lana: to actually connect to such an erratic person, one must be erratic. Plus, this was also for Lexa, but I think she was afk, oh well.

I kept asking everyone I knew for like 100m so my new character can get a nice fresh start... and then I asked for it in <edited out the channel name> and magically the ball got rolling. Either I just trolled the heck out of C+P's trolls, or they just trolled me... BUT WHO WILL KNOW NOW!? It's such a Catch-22, if they say I didn't troll them, I could just say "LOL I WAS TROLLING YOU JUST THEN, I REALLY DID SCAM YOU LLOLOL" Really, there is no end to this madness. At least I did make 58m ISK over my aiming level and this particular thread brought me down the road to scamming someone out of a plex with 400k, so I'm happy anyways. ...now, was I trolling you by saying I'm deaf?... HMM
